Cooper has multiple locations, one on Marvin Griffin road and another on Old Savannah road in Augusta and employs multiple phones to scam customers. I had to physically go from another state and tow my truck away. He LIED to me for these two months about what he had done (supposed to be an engine overhaul, turns out all he did was remove the engine cover and oil pan in these two months). He told me he bad the thing taken apart, that the dealer was taking time getting parts in, that he was putting it together, he even said he ordered a timing kit that he didnt have. NONE OF THIS HAPPPENED. EVER. CONFIRMED NOT ONLY BY MY EYES, BUT ALSO THE DEALER. Not only did he lied, but he also took half the labor as a down. Then refunds me partial!!!!! I have had MAJOR losses due to this lack of responsibility, the absurd behavior from Wilfred Cooper. There's other places we can take our trucks to, in the same area, that would do the same job in a couple of days. Please stop telling customers "definitely tomorrow" when it will take 7 days to complete service FOR AN ESTIMATE. Also, $1,800 for a 18 mile tow is plainly stealing money from consumers. I called around and got three separate estimates. The most expensive out of the three came in at $300 for the same towing distance. As a consumer and business owner, I recommend finding an alternative around the area. We found someone else who was able to tow the truck and trailer and provide the repairs for 45% less than the estimate we were handed.
