While I'll refrain from doing a direct comparison I will say what you get with The Market at Preston (or any of their other locations I suspect) is amazing fried chicken worth the trip to the pump. I ordered ahead and got a 4 piece meal, perhaps 4 pieces were too many because I ended up saving some of it for lunch the next day, however it only meant I got two chances to enjoy the crispy, but not super battered, chicken not just once but twice. I was really impressed with the Mac and Cheese. Not many places do the side well, often it's goopy school cafeteria fare but their Mac and Cheese was rich and creamy. The Potato Wedges were spiced very nicely, perhaps better than KFC. What else can I say? If you are driving through C'ville perhaps make your next pit stop at The Market.

I started using Finley's because I was tired of the Honda dealer doing me wrong. Finley's was okay…read moreat fist. But recently I went in for an oil change. The lady at the front desk said I was "required" to use synthetic oil. When I questioned that (I'm a bit of a car nut), she said I should look it up on the internet or my service manual. And she went ahead and wrote up my work order for synthetic oil (which BTW costs twice as much as regular oil). So I went home and looked it up. Nowhere does it say synthetic oil is required. In fact, it can be bad for older cards (it finds leaks). In fact, it is not even recommended. Sites will tell you the benefits (such as longer between oil changes, better gas mileage), but never any mention of being required. When will companies learn that tricking a customer increases their revenue for that one day - but will lose them future business when the customer goes somewhere else from now on. BTW the sticker they put on the window (to remind me of my next oil change) still said only 5,000 miles - not the 7,000 or 10,000 that is usual for synthetic oil Good night Finley's. Good night moon.

A brand new one costs at most $400 and I was billed $1,000. I had to ask some nice secretary to help me pay $20 of this outrageous highway robbery in order to make my way home that night. Shortly thereafter this bad tune seized the engine of a perfectly good V6. I would avoid this place if you don't want to find yourself up the creek without a paddle.
