This guys came in to grade and seed our new built house... Not only they graded it in a way that the flow of the water misses the sod used as an easement and created a muddy mess but when they did it there was no clean up, they just ran on top of the weeds, left huge rocks, tree trunks, bricks, large pieces of tarp, pretty much everything you can imagine from a construction site, then seeded on top of that and covered it with nets of hay. A couple of months later after the Hay was gone, we where left with huge patches of dirt and all the garbage. After that they came to re-seed those areas and clean up multiple block of hay that they left in our backyard; luckily I have security cameras because we caught the employees putting the blocks and all the debris they picked up on a wheel barrel and threw them into my own backyard trying to hide them between my trees. I wouldn't recommend this company even if they paid me, stay away from them.

The tree was delivered and planted before the delivery team let me know they were here. I was not allowed to approve the tree prior to planting. The tree is covered with powdery mildew. When I called to inform them that the tree had this issue, they asked me why I purchased the tree. I have to ask, why did they sell me a diseased tree, and why did they plant a tree that was clearly diseased. If we had known that it had this problem, we wouldn't have purchased it. I will NEVER purchase anything from an unethical company such as Maddox. My husband and I have a business and always make things right for our customers. There was absolutely no attempt to make things right for us by Maddox.

Don has been with them ever since I can remember, and he is always a delight to work with, too. The orchid I got was very beautiful as well. I got it for my mother but it's mine now, hehehe! I'll definitely be back for more flowers. Might get another fly trap annnnd gonna have to get an orchid that I'll actually give to my mom. The staff was pretty friendly. I actually plan on getting an estimate for some landscaping work soon. So, I'll update the review when I get an estimate and work done. But so far, I'm liking the place and their stuff.

The two Garden employees watched as we struggled and locked the sliding doors.the two employees stood at the register talking and when I knocked on the automatic doors the man held his finger up as to say "hold on." I stood around for several minutes and had to knock again. He unlocked the doors and told me the Garden center was closed. I said that was fine but I needed them to hold my items until I could pick them up tomorrow. The man proceeds to tell me they don't hold items and I'd have to carry everything to customer service, return them and buy them again tomorrow. I told them that was ridiculous and if the items needed to go to customer service then we would like some help taking them there. The man and the woman refused. Told me they weren't allowed to help us. Needless to say I expressed my opinion on their customer service and being paid employees they are required to help us. I asked if they could get us a cart to load up to take to customer service and they said no. My husband & I were shocked. Meanwhile my two children are watching & hearing this nonsense. The male employee starts referring to us as kids (he was prob in his 60s, us near 40). My husband picks up the table, carries it over his head up to customer service while the two Garden center employees follow behind. We ask to speak to a manager and she comes promptly. We ask if they hold items until we can pick it up tomorrow and she says "yes, we just need your name." We tell the manager about what happened and how we were treated by the employees and she doesn't show any concern. She says sorry about that and nothing more. The man keeps bantering with us in front on his manager, fellow employees and shoppers. I told the manager that this is exactly why Walmart has a bad rep. She then tells me that she has worked for Walmart for 15 years and knows what people say about Walmart isn't true. Oh my gosh! We left there livid! No one cared, no one showed an ounce of customer service and YES, this IS exactly the crap that keeps people away from Walmart. I went back the next day, picked up my furniture and it looks great on my patio. What an ordeal!!!

I stopped in yesterday for the first time. You currently have 1 adoption cat that seemed pretty…read morelethargic and just depressed. As I got it over for me to give a little lovins, I noticed inside it's left ear was COMPLETELY black. I'm not sure if it just needs a good cleaning or if it has ear mites (I didn't get close enough for a sniff). I informed the clerk at the Cashier desk (who was very nice and stated that he would let his boss know) He informed me that it's not actually their cat, but a foster that they are just taking care of. The poor thing did not seem happy at all and again, very lethargic. I am unsure what it's right ear looked like but please get this cat some attention. It was heartbreaking to see him so depressed. I will most likely stop back in for a check up on him as this is disheartening seeing this and reading previous reviews regarding the care of the animals. This will not stop me from shopping there (at this time), however, I don't want to see something like this in the future so please make sure the animals you have in store are being well cared for. My 2 stars is only due to this poor animal. Everything else I seen seemed to be just fine and I found something I wasn't even looking for. I did notice that some things were low supplied (cat toys mainly) and things for Crested Geckos. But all in all the store was clean, the staff member present was very personable and pleasant. :*-( UPDATE: I have reached out and spoke with the manager who assured me that the cat will be taken care of and that he has also reached out to the rescue regarding a Vet appointment - or if he needed to handle that on his end. He said she came to him with a previous really bad ear infection. How awful!!! I am happy she will be taken care of. He advised that I can call any time to check on her as well.
