We have purchased no less than 7 trucks at Southern Roads Auto through the years. These have been for our company and have always had a great experience with their team. We typically purchase them with around 100K miles and let them go at 200K miles or less. It has always been great service, and we look at their website weekly to see what has rolled in! read more

Bought a truck from them that looked 10/10 in the photos and had no visible rock chips and was told it didn't. Get home after 16 hours of driving to find that it has rock chips ALL OVER the side of it and rear. Very unhappy that I have to now spend a few hundred bucks or more to get it all fixed from a body shop. read more

Buying a used car is an experience. However, buying from out of state adds a whole other dilemma. I had searched for several months for a particular Ford Mustang, I found it at Southern Roads Auto via Autotrader. I called and spoke to Chad, he was one of the friendliest sales consultants and very honest, attentive, and not pushy at all. I viewed all of his stores photos of the car, he took his cell phone and went completely over the car, even took me on a virtual drive for about 15 minutes as I was 700 miles away in East Texas. I was impressed with the straight forward answers, as well as Chads eye for minor imperfections, and the effort to secure the car from another state. We worked out a deal, I forwarded the papers and payment, he and Byron secured a company to haul the car across the 700 miles at a reasonable cost. I was very impressed at the car I received, to say the least I was nervous, but I should not have worried. It was impeccable, clean and exactly as described to me by Chad. I would not hesitate to buy from Chad or Byron ever again. I have a car that gets 2nd looks and comments from everyone. Thanks again, Southern Roads Auto and Chad!! We bought our 2016 Highlander from Southern Road and had the best experience. The people were easy to work with and the process was quick and easy. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the deal. Highly recommend using them for any of your automotive dealings. read more

Great experience all around with Southern Roads Auto. Saw the truck online, the husband called to discuss it, went to see it... wrote a check that day. Super nice guys, inventory is great, the truck we bought was so clean it looks brand new. We could not have dealt with two nicer guys. They made buying a "previously owned" vehicle a pleasure. Highly recommend! read more

Went to see a 2012 Ford F250HD Monday and Chad was there to assist me. Can't say enough good things about Chad. He gently took me through the credit and finance process. I took the truck to be inspected and this 2012 had nothing wrong that could be noted by Pep Boys. Once I bought the truck I had to get my car home also so I rented a Uhaul auto transport. My Mercedes was soo low that pulling all the way onto the transport would damage my front spoiler. Chad got some wood out the back, cut it, put it under my front tires to raise high enough to prevent damage. Did I say he also gave me a tow hitch and ball to get the rental. Can't say enough good things. Thanks Chad. If and when I need another truck I'm coming to see you first! read more

A couple of months back, maybe six months or so I came in looking for a suburban or Tahoe and from the moment I got there I just knew there was something different about this car dealership. Chad and Byron were some of the nicest down to earth guys and the car buying experience was the best that we have ever experienced in our 20+ years of driving and buying cars. About two months into having my car it started having some mechanical issues and I took it back to them and they referred me to a local mechanic shop. Turns out my warranty company that I bought with the car wasn't so great and didn't pay for a lot of the repair so Byron, the owner of Southern Roads stepped up and paid more money for the repair of the car then the warranty company. leaving me to only owe a few hundred dollars. On top of that he let me drive some of his vehicles that he could have been selling free of charge while my vehicle was in the shop for over three weeks. Now let me clarify that I bought this vehicle with the buyers guide as is no warranty and really he owed me nothing, but he was such a genuine guy that he chose to sacrifice his own good for my sake. Fast forward to a few weeks ago about (6 months) my car started making the very same sound as before and went through the process of breaking down much quicker to the point where my engine completely stopped and would no longer work. When we took it to a dealership they said that we need a new engine and the warranty company wouldn't pay for it because they had already sent the supposed parts to be fixed the first time around. I'm not even sure why I called and spoke with Chad and Byron maybe it was just because I felt like out of all of the people that I dealt with they were the only ones I could trust. I was looking for direction I think. not only did they hear my story Byron decided to step up and buy an engine for my vehicle, have it shipped out here and pay for all the parts that require the warranty for the engine. FOLKS HE BOUGHT ME AN ENGINE!!!!!! I have never in my life thought of car dealers as good people. they always seem like sleazy crooks who you have to wheel and deal with just to get somewhat of a bargain and you never really know if they're telling you the truth. however, I don't think I will ever purchase a vehicle anywhere else other than southern roads. These two Christian men stepped up and did something for my family that I could not do and I am so honored and grateful to give them this review Might I also throw in that the mechanic shop (hometown tire)also stepped up and is doing the right thing and they're replacing the engine for me that Byron bought free of charge. So yeah if you're wondering is this a good place to buy a vehicle from.......you're dang right it is!!! read more

"I WOULD buy a used car from him", and did. Byron had previous owner history on the truck, which helped, and gave a great first impression on our initial inquiry over the phone. During purchase, our bank lender even commented on how prepared he was with the needed information. The lot has a variety of clean, quality used cars and trucks. Knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, efficient, dog friendly. We recommend Southern Roads Auto. If you see their vehicles on Craig's List, don't hesitate to check them out. Safe, legitimate business. Extremely knowlegable and very friendly. My fiance and I told Byron what we were looking for and within less than a week's time he found the perfect car for us. read more

Purchasing a used vehicle is always a little nerve-racking, even after all the research and due diligence, it's hard to shake the feeling you might be purchasing a money-pit (I've been burned by a small dealership in the past if you couldn't tell ;-)... But I can say that both Byron and Chad both did an amazing job minimizing those concerns. I really couldn't have asked for a better experience when purchasing my "new-to-me" truck. Right out the gate Chad was straight up with us about the existing issues and reassured me they would be fixed prior to purchasing. I even had the pleasure of witnessing the repairs being made by Byron himself. The whole experience was as stress free as you could possibly ask for. No pushy sales tactics, pricing was very fair and everyone was laid back and down to earth. But most importantly, they did what they said they would do and that is what creates a great customer experience. All I can say is if you see something you like online, don't hesitate to go see it in person. They have some quality stock on the lot and it likely won't last long. Keep up the great work guys! read more
