Jim helped him (Fred Brown) to help diagnose and get our turbo sensor replaced ASAP as we were on a time schedule to arrive in Michigan. He was able to get us up and running and on the road again in the same day which was really much appreciated. When later in the trip the engine trouble light again came on Jim helped my husband Fred over the phone while we were in Michigan. Above and beyond mechanics and customer service. Would ALWAYS use this diesel repair shop if we lived near. Thanks again mechanics who helped and Jim the manager/owner.

And with 2 young adults and four cars, we need a no nonsense, affordable mechanic. Honest-1 lived up to their reviews as an honest and affordable option for our vehicle maintenance. I brought my van to them for a second opinion on some very expensive dealership recommended service. The were up front about the maintenance required (validating dealer recommendation), but they were about $400 cheaper. I also brought my new (used) truck in for a post-buy diagnostic and inspection. They got my new used truck humming and purring again taking care of all the maintenance necessary for the mileage and minor post-buy issues (balancing the tires and recalibrating the HVAC). Tip: Best to get to them when they open at 8:00 am because they operate on appointment only, and their days fill up quickly. I called ahead to ensure I was on the schedule. They also offer a shuttle if you need a ride to/from the shop. HIGHLY recommend Honest-1 if you are looking for a local mechanic. I look forward to getting to know them, and them getting to know our cars.
