I stood waiting at the counter while the young lady at the counter carried on a rambling conversation about some daily store giveaways. They carried on as she listed past giveaways, today's giveaway, and upcoming giveaways. I just stood there holding my purchases hoping they'd wrap it up. But no, then the customer decided he wanted some Zyn, but wasn't sure which flavor. That started another conversation. Finally he made his choice and the cashier began the arduous task of peeling a can from its packaging, still carrying on about the giveaways and her opinions. Finally, I dropped my products on the counter and walked out. I can only imagine how hard it is to find quality employees to work overnight in a gas station, but simple courtesy should be a common human trait. Just not this morning....

Then proceeds to tell me she only keeps "X" in the drawer, so I say I'll take 25 of each. She still tells me she can't take a $100. So I go to the ATM and grab some cash. She telling the customer behind me I am an &*%#€*! I go back and she says if you spent $50 I could have done it! So let's do some math 10 each x $2.00 = $40 25 each x $2.00 = $100 I spend $20, could have spent a $100 is that bad business? How about someone train staff to listen to customers before shooting off with attitude. Let's try it this way... Cashier...Oh I see you have a 100, did you want 25 of each? Customer Lol I wish was gonna grab 10 of each. Cashier Sorry because of what we keep in the drawer you need to send at least $50. Customer ok, let spend $50 between both of them. After that it had put my bill above the 10 dollar bill I had bc of my two breakfast items so I attempted to pay with the only other money I had a hundred dollar bill. She rolled her eyes again and said they don't take them. ( What I do believe the store is obligated to do since it is legal tender). So I left the store with nothing went to the competition and will continue to from now on. Roll your eyes at that. Don't give me your attitude bc you don't like your job.

My husband is a truck driver. He was in this store and he brought his own coffee cup in to get…read morecoffee. He paid for his coffee at a register on the opposite side of the store. When he was on his way out, a fuel desk clerk screamed at him about paying for his coffee. He stopped and told her he paid for his coffee at the other register. He was the only person that she decided to scream at about a cup of coffee. There should be some kind of system to inform the workers that people have followed the proper procedures. This type of thing is causing problems in today's society, including innocent people getting killed. I would hate for him or anyone to get the police called on them for stealing when in fact the item was paid for.
