When I told him how things didn't work out there & that I stopped working there, he stopped in his tracks and told me that when I start working again to schedule another appointment and walked me out to the check out area. My job has nothing to do with the service that I was paying for. I felt cheated out of my money that day and of coursed judged & insulted. I will never come back this this chiropractor. November 10th…read morewas his last day due to the P.T. having him doing an exercise (8 days post op) stepping over an item (which he wasn't supposed to be doing) without a gait belt (which another assistant had actually got one) but was told he wasn't going to need it or his prescribed assisted device. He was "risk for falls". He fell and reinjured his operated leg. We found out it was broken. The blame was put on my husband instead of P.T., whom we trusted to get better. She owned him a duty to improve and protect him from further harm. We haven't heard from them since, no apology at all. Documents were not all accurate.

I was equally impressed with his staff who in the outpatient surgery treated me so kindly. "Nothing we can do about that," is the last thing you want to hear when you are doubled over in pain and begging for help. Condescending, arrogant, flippant, disrespectful, and inappropriate. I suppose he's fine if you don't have any real problems, but don't go to this man if you have any real issues. I wouldn't give him a single star if I had the option. Mr. Fields, in the future, if someone's problem is above your pay grade, admit it and refer them to a doctor that is capable of helping rather than gaslighting them into thinking their pain isn't real.

A friend recommended that I see Dr. Allen Goode at East Memphis Chiropractic. What a difference! I hadn't been to a chiropractor in years so I was a little apprehensive, but Dr. Goode put me right at ease. He is very personable and competent. They were able to give me a same day appointment, bill my insurance and see me with a minimal wait once I arrived. He said to come back if I felt I needed to, rather than insisting on scheduling repeat visits just to generate business. My neck was a little (but nowhere near as badly) stiff the following week and again, they were happy to fit me in for a same day adjustment. From the sign in the lobby, I saw that without insurance, adjustments are only 45.00, which I imagine could be a real lifesaver for some people. I really am pleased with my two visits so far and would whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Goode to any one experiencing back or neck pain! (or whatever else you might go to a chiropractor for, I am not expert, obviously)
