I've driven past this spot many times but the timing never worked out. This is definitely a great spot to enjoy a good selection of nice beers with plenty of friendly folks and great bartenders.

White wine does not get better with age as many red wines do. Today I had trouble here finding a Chardonnay I like that was less than 2 years old, the cut off for Chard's as far as I'm concerned. So I bought 1 bottle 2014 and one 2013 and sure enough, the 2013 is sour. I will try to return it to them. Prices were fair and the gentleman was fun to talk to and I like the location, thus the 4 stars. He didn't know much about wine but he listened and said he'd talk to his distributor.

I arrived with ideas to purchase but the customer service was limited. After more than few minutes, someone asked if I needed assistance and unfortunately, it was a bit rushed. They were working with another customer when they asked. I wandered around the store, I think, about 10 - 15 minutes. I didn't have a lot of time, so I wasn't able to wait until they finished with the other customer. There was only one person available for customer service, but it looked as though they were preparing for an event, I saw tables outside and the door was open when I arrived. There's an array of wines, gourmet food and truffles just to name a few reasons to check this place out. I had my eye on a couple of things so I'll definitely be back when I have time to linger and browse. I didn't have an opportunity to ask about the wine tastings or the personal consults for gift baskets because of the limited service. It's easy enough to check their website for the classes and there's plenty of time to check back for basket ideas. It's a great place to get gifts for family, friends or co-workers.

I caught the Fish and Chips on a Friday, actual cod cooked perfectly; the fries were standard frozen crinkle cut. Hub's personal sized pizza got praise; the crust is legit. And the meatballs as a shareable were delish. The beer menu is somewhat limited but does include a variety of styles (thankfully not all over-hopped). The only negatives, that aren't really "negatives" but noted: the music was a bit loud, not a deal breaker but borderline not pleasant during early lunch. And considering their marinara is SO tasty, and is utilized for the pizzas as well as the meatballs, it's a mystery that there are no pasta dishes nor chicken parm. I'm eager to go back for their brunch!
