you're looking for quality work to be done this is not the right place. Extremely high prices and low quality work.did not deliver on his promises and refuses to return our calls to fix the issues. Every outlet is all jacked up every joint in the trim work is subpar at best and his drywall skills leave a lot to be desired. . It's to bad that there are contractors out there who will take advantage of elderly people. Cooper you should be ashamed of yourself. So if you're looking to do business with this company Don't! Run, don't walk, away from Cooper McClure and Chad Betts. Absolutely the worst Contracting Company I have encountered. They misrepresented numerous times after the contract was set and the deposit was paid. They became defensive when this was gently pointed out. They took $2500.00 from me, and walked off the job after 2 hours of work with no legal grounds. Cooper McClure cursed at me. Chad damaged my gate during the only 2 hours of work done, and they refuse to fix it. Check the other reviews. Avoid them at all costs. read more

At 10 AM my realtor called me to say he had not seen the painter yet. I called Danny and he said he was close by and could he have the number of the Realtor. I gave him the number and felt everything was going to be okay. AT 11:30 AM I called my realtor to see how everything went and was informed that he never showed up. Community Alert: Fraudulent Contractor - Cooper McClure Beware of Cooper McClure at Southern Logic Contracting. He falsely claimed to be working under a licensed contractor, had us sign a contract, and took a $35,000 deposit. We later found out the licensed contractor had no idea about our project. His deceit has caused us significant stress and financial loss. Despite our attempts to resolve the issue, Cooper was dismissive and unhelpful. Verify credentials thoroughly before hiring. Hired this company to do multiple projects in my home and they were unable to install bathtub…read morefixtures. They claimed walls were "too thick" and extensions were needed. They disposed of original fixtures and I had no working bathtub for 2 months while they claimed they were trying to get parts. Was finally told bathtub fixtures could not be installed unless I removed tile. Since the owner of this company stated he could not get the job done he agreed to issue a partial refund. No refund has been received. I hired another plumber who had no problem installing bathtub fixtures. Edit: I offered multiple times to buy new fixtures but was told that would not resolve the issue and as of 7/27/26 still have not received the partial refund.

When the actual work began we found there was serious hidden damage (rot) that he could never have seen until he tore off siding. He stuck with us; found ways to complete the job in the most cost efficient methods possible, and stuck with us until the job was finished; even though he had other bigger jobs waiting. We couldn't be more pleased with the job or with the way he completed it. Not only are Anthony and Missy a pleasure to deal with; their employees are hardworking, trustworthy and do fantastic work. We would recommend A & M Builders to anyone, and would definitely use them to contract any work we would do in the future.
