I called the next day and their phone system used an automated AI response initially, but I was then rerouted and able to speak with a service person. They dispatched a technician, diagnosed my issues, sent quote estimates to my email, followed up with a confirmed booking, and came out within the next day with the proper part to service my broken system. Before the serviceman arrived, I received text updates with pictures of who to expect and with their estimated time of arrival. The communication, timeliness and efficient service provided by Dunn was exceptional. They charge a standard assessment fee which is factored into the overall cost of service. After saying it wasn't covered by my Homeowner's Insurance because of a missing part, they quoted me a repair price of $700. I said,"goodbye." After the repair person left, I found the missing part on the ground, near the disconnect box. It was a cover the size of your cell phone that goes between the outside box cover and the a/c wires in the box. I jammed the part back into place, and called the Homeowner's Insurance Company to share the matter with them. After sending them photos, they said they would cover any necessary repairs, and that the HVAC company would come back out. Guess what? The HVAC company never called, dodged my calls, not interested in finishing the job. After a month,Airbender was assigned the job by the homeowner's insurance company and came out. Repair person was like, "no-there's absolutely nothing wrong w your disconnect box. They were just trying to scam you." On my invoice which I received email after he had left . the technician added 265.00 for voltage rewire which he did not make me aware of or I didn't see him doing . If you must deal with this company have the technician send you the invoice before they leave don't leave them alone while they do the work and never pay them cash or with a check because the first thing they do is overcharge you then they cash your check and then they never return your calls .
