Scammers. They order from Amazon say a new copy of a book and before it's delivered they claim it's damaged or some other excuse. They send a damaged book back but it's their junk copy and not the copy they purchased. These scammers need to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. read more

The address was odd so I googled it and came across these yelp reviews..Thanks everyone. I cancelled the order and will notify amazon asap about this scam. Do the same! Edit: I notified amazon about this scam and I took a photo of the outcome of the chat where amazon stated where they "submitted a concession abuse investigation form. That department will investigate the situation and handle the situation as they see fit." I continue to encourage everyone to use the chat option when reporting scam about this business and keep records. This is unacceptable and their account should be closed. read more

Company orders books on amazon then claims they are damaged to return them. Dishonest company! BUYER FRAUD!

"Mary Buchanan" likes to cancel the order, just after I've shipped it and then tries to return it claiming "inacurate website description" I am going to cancel any future orders from them and tell them to stop ordering from me. SCAM! Sent them a book and they returned a different book that was missing a dust jacket, water stained, and damaged. Amazon doesn't take any action against them probably because of the volume they do. If you have the option definitely use eBay before Amazon. read more

Do not allow this customer to buy from you on amazon!!! This amazon buyer is a scam purchased book and wants to return it more than 30 days stating it had dust cover bent and wants return shipping. cancel the sale with this buyer it will cost you more than it is worth. read more

I sold a book to them on Amazon. They requested that I cancel the order and asked that I not ship the book...they sent this TWO days after a delivery confirmation. It seemed a little fishy so I searched them up and there are several complaints about them. Save yourself the haste and do not sell to them. read more

Received two orders from SBS within weeks of each other. The first order's tracking shows it was delivered, date and time. But a month later, received an email requesting refund unless I have signature confirmation. Claim they did not receive it. Then received a second order from SBS, and before it was mailed, received an email from company requesting that an invoice NOT be included. I requested further information from the buyer and indicated concerns about the books delivery when they receive a large number of books by mail. I never heard back, so cancelled the order. I will cancel any further orders from this company. I lost money and the book on the first order. I am positive it would have been the same on the second if I hadn't cancelled it. BEWARE AMAZON SELLERS !!!! They are professional SCAMMERS, they buy books and then try to get refunds on false pretexts. They state that the book didn't arrive even thou you have a delivery confirmation tracking. Or they state the book is damage or the book is incorrect. Yep, it's a scam -- if you are an Amazon seller, CANCEL any orders from the "company." I usually do a google search on commercial orders from customers but neglected to do so this time. And, sure enough, 5 days after their book order (and after they saw that I shipped the order, of course) they are saying they will make a claim for a refund. I provided tracking info but all of that of course will be irrelevant to Amazon. If they do file a claim, I am going to contact the Opa Locka, Florida police department and file a fraud report. That will likely be fruitless, but who knows, if enough sellers do it, something may come of it. read more

This person purchased my book off Amazon and as everyone states, disputed that the book had one page bent and requested a refund over 30 days after receiving the item. This person is a complete scam artist and has been doing this for over 5 years as far as my research has found. Luckily for them, they scammed someone who works along side many federal agencies. Amazon is siding with the scammer and doesn't even reply to sellers trying to get their money back. The person does not send the book back either. They are stealing peoples items in broad daylight. KNOWN SCAMMERS. I recommend cancelling orders from this Opa Locka Address. Sometimes they Claim that they never got the book and demand a refund. Other times they will complain about Condition of a Like New Book and send back a Book in much worse condition. Last time scammed my Book had a Border's Price Tag and I marked it with UV. Returned Book no tag and no UV. , This is exactly what they did to me until I wised up.. They have hundreds of thousands of books listed...don't really have them in stock... and buy other Seller's books to fulfill their orders. They are both Sellers and Buyers. I believe that they are Previously Known as Anybook, More Books, Murray Books, Book Warehouse, Loads of Books SBS and MORE. I am selling a book at a significantly lower price that it was listed at by other sellers, and I just posted it yesterday. I'm sure this company wants to re-sell this textbook at a much higher price. I just wonder, since this item was just posted not even 24 hours earlier than it was "sold," if there is some kind of tool these scammers use to allow them to quickly identify items that are significantly underpriced. I have had a problem customer from both Amazon and Ebay and neither company had any interest in taking action. I have had the misfortune of dealing with SBS several times. They are book re-listers, meaning that they sell books on-line that they do not have, at outrageous mark-ups, and if you order from them they send you whatever cheap copy they can find from another seller, regardless of how they described the book they did not even have. Contact customer service, and they are rude & dismissive. Dishonest people. read more

I just had the same thing happen to me, A Tracy Bradford purchased a book from me and now they want a refund because they state the edges are damaged and there are creases. This is not very likely, I personally double boxed the book to protect it. I have yet to provide or authorize a refund. I wish I would have saw these reviews prior to shipping the book. I think Rhonda may be right. I just sold them a book and they asked me for a refund because it took too long to get there. It took 5 business days and they ordered it on Media Mail. Google around for this business (also known as "SBS Half" and "bookloads"). They've had more than a few complaints. read more

Amazon sellers beware! This business uses a different name and a different garbled text on the first line of the mailing address to scam sellers on Amazon. I was contacted last year for a book, and I checked the strange address on google and saw all the bad reviews. I contacted Amazon and they told me to cancel the order. I suppose they banned the account that was associated with that order, but they have not been able to stop them for good. They put another order in today, and I contacted Amazon immediately again. Goodlord! We have been selling to these joksters for months and they are the most dishonest rude and vindictive people I have ever dealt with! They will use all the old tricks to steal books from honest sellers. You name it! Claiming that they didn't receive the book, asking for refunds months later the book was shipped, threatening to leave negative feedback if you don't refund them. One time I provided tracking number which clearly showed that the book was delivered in Opa Locka and they had the nerve to tell me that it didnt show at which address it was delivered exactly. Well USPS does not show at which address a package is delivered. Just the city. I also bought a new book from them (Anybook on amazon): they shipped an old library stamped book from Malaysia with yanked pages. When I contacted them, they said it was impossible and they would NOT refund my purchase. Thankfully my credit card company gave me the money back. Scum! I sell books on ABE, AMAZON and my own website. Various people from this address order books from me via ABE, and there is a high rate of issues with the order being delivered or them wanting excessive shipping, delivery and tracking information. Their house is obviously not in order, or the local post office is highly deficient (in which case they should responsibly engage an alternate shipping address which DOES function. I will no longer be shipping books to this company, and warn others to be wary. Things are shown by the USPS to have been delivered with tracking, yet they repeatedly claim non-delivery or late-delivery. read more
