I brought my friend and companion to get groomed. He was really matter on his paws. He won't let anyone touch them. He's a rescue and has high anxiety. For that reason he is out under anesthesia during the groom. I dropped him off and when I came back to pick him up and it seems that the person who brought him to me after it had been a while of me waiting was hesitant because he had been cut and he was bleeding so he needed a antibiotic topical and had to wear one of the cone hats. I thought about this before I called to complain I feel like he was injured there and that they should be responsible for paying the paying for the antibiotic and The cone hat I'm not asking for my money back for the groom I understand that accidents happen I'm not trying to fuss at anyone in particular I just think it would be a good gesture seeing as how he was hurt there that they could bill for the cone hat in the top of the antibiotic. So I spoke with office manager and she was out when this happened she was on vacation I spoke with her and she said she would get back to me a few times and she didn't I felt like I was being brushed off and my little puppy is my love he's my little companion it means a lot to me that he was hurt there and I am upset about it but they should be upset about it too I mean it happened there the doctor looked at it thought it required anti-biotic ointment topical and the hat. But when I spoke with the office manager and she said she had spoke with the doctor and the others that had something to do with what happened to Anakin they suggested that he had a cyst that had I guess ruptured while they were trimming him at no time during the afternoon where I picked him up did the doctor or the lady who brought him out to me say anything about there being a cyst he said he accidentally got cut he's been bleeding and oozing and he has to wear the hat so that he can't lick his foot I was really upset but I didn't act out I went home and thought about it and obviously manager was back in on Wednesday and Friday I spoke with her after she had spoke with her staff and she said that basically it was Anakin's foot that was the problem and that the doctor had said he had a cyst remember and they never said that word to me when I picked him up so I am on a rant and I feel like I have not been fairly treated of course my my dog fairly treated at this point he had to wear the cone hat and it stretched both sides of his neck as it has even wearing it. So, if you were looking for a new vet or a new groomer you might want to read this about this rethink the visit if I can give it zero Stars I would so give zero stores

They did their normal blood test, urine test, etc. but neither of the doctors took the time, or even the interest, to consider a palpable exam. Possibly because he is an extra large dog, and they were "afraid" of him. I finally found a good vet that gave a dam, snd five minutes into our first visit she found the problem that has been haunting us for over a year by doing a digital exam of his anus where she found a large polyp. We scheduled surgery to remove it, but she found that the polyp/tumor is three inches long. She said it needed major surgery to remove it, snd that upon further review, it appears to be cancer. Now my dog is scheduled to have extensive surgery at Blue Pearl to remove the growth, something that quite possibly could have been avoided if veterinarians took the time, and had Kodi's health as a priority instead of worrying about getting their smock dirty. What has happened to good, knowledgeable professional veterinarians? Currently most of them just look at your wallet first. All they are good for is giving injections, prescription pills or expensive prescription food, all of which is also marked up to fatten the bill. Finally, I have found a doctor that cares more about the pets than her retirement plan.

They recommend that we try their sister hospital in Social Circle. After using Wellsprings boarding service twice with no issues at all, it made sense to use Social Circle Veterinary Hospital. This turned out to be a very bad decision. On Monday, we took our dog over for a walk through 5 days before leaving him for boarding, to see if he would have problem. No issues were noted and they said that he was ok to stay there. Saturday, we brought him to start his stay. They ask me sign a letter permitting them to give him Trazodone to use for relief of anxiety. I signed it thinking that it would not be needed, nor was it used during his previous stays at the sister site. During our trip I called them on the Wednesday to see how he was doing, they put me on hold to check his status. They came back to the phone and said they he was ok, he was eating ok and had just been out side. No mention of any issues or problems. Came back to pick him up on Thursday, and they told me they had to use Trazodone starting the day we brought him in Saturday. We never received a call on Saturday while we were still here, now anything during our trip. They did not contact our son who was listed to be contacted if something should happen. When I called, they did not mention that they had been giving him Trazodone starting the day we dropped him off. GSD are known to be active; they apparently were not prepared for this and decide to use this as an excuse to do a money grab. They added a doctor office visit $78.00, 100mg Trazodone $39.50 and jacked up the boarding stay from $29.00 a day to $50.70. I talked with Maggie about this and she said that there was a problem with communication and that she was going to look into it. Lesson learned the hard way make sure you know where you are boarding our pet and don't sign any medication waivers. I'm very disappointed at the recommendation that Wellsprings made. Their sister hospital leaves a lot to be desired, clearly, they are not operated, equipped or staffed the same.
