My daughter came home from school early with a stomach bug on the same day which she had an appointment. I called to reschedule and the receptionist said that she would not reschedule because I didn't give her a 24 hour notice. I tried to explain to her that my daughter was sick and there's no way she could come in for her dermatology appointment she said, "You're just calling me now? " rude, rude rude!!! I called tri-care and got my daughters' dermatology referral switched to another local dermatologist in town. If you are tricare, call them now to have it switched. Don't even bother making the appointment. FYI: With tricare, if you see the doctor once, you cannot switch doctors. But if you've never seen the doctor on a new referral, you can switch before the first visit.

Dr. Neal came in and three minutes later the appointment was over. She looked over my body in less than a minute and spent the other two minutes telling me to wear sunscreen, which I have always done. I had to pay an $80 copay. The appointment felt very rushed, she seemed to be in a hurry and didn't stay to answer my questions about what skin care products I should use beyond sunscreen. I felt invisible and like she was too busy to spend time educating me, and because I have a family history of skin cancer, I kind of wanted to make sure I was doing everything to prevent it and maybe learn about what changes to moles should be concerning. If I did have abnormal changes to my moles, they wouldn't be able to see me in time anyway. 9 months and $80 later for a 3 minute visit. I will not be going back and I would not recommend anyone here.

Woke up on 7/5 with painful and swollen right eye and face. Called office as instructed, waited three hours and after no response, went to the ED. Diagnosed with facial cellulitis, which is rare. Dr. E finally called me AFTER I was discharged from the ED and told me to come to his office 1st thing Monday morning. When I arrived, I was told by front desk staff that he said to come back when the sutures were scheduled to be removed. Not happy but complied. When I returned, I had to tell the nurse that HE said to let him remove sutures. He was very nonchalant about the entire situation. No follow up for facial cellulitis or ugly surgical scar. BTW, I am a retired RN who worked in surgery.

You ask him about a procedure , and he takes the time to tell you all about it and has very explicit brochures about the procedure you are interested in. Also, his staff is so personal and great with helping and answering any questions you may have. They are a very cohesive team. It's all about the patients to them. You feel the warmth sincerity... My mother and I have been going to Dr. Hendricks for many years. He is so professional but also down to earth...We love him and his staff and would recommend his services to all.
