Another time, his amazing Nurse Cleary correctly noted an internal infection in my shoulder after the orthopedic surgeon and his PA had both misdiagnosed the post surgical infection as a dermatology issue. I don't understand how they can have so many employees yet you can never get any real customer service. And much of the staff does not seem to be well-trained at all. It's difficult to reach a real person by phone at Atlantic and when you finally get someone, rarely do you get a person who knows what they're doing. Most of them seem constantly confused and very vague in all their answers. It's like it's their first day on the job. They also make billing mistakes and then good luck finding the right person who can help you. And when you finally see a doctor, the ones I've had are in and out of the room so fast that you suspect they are using stopwatches to keep from going over spending 3 1/2 minutes with you. I have switched to a smaller dermatologist's office. One that doesn't make me feel like I'm on a conveyer belt on an assembly line. One that is not part of the giant conglomerations who are taking over all the healthcare facilities in Wilmington. I do not recommend Atlantic Dermatology.
