So today, I am getting the Attorney General to take care of it. I am not getting any response from Allyn Hood and it has been three years (June 1, 2021) since he's held $1755 of my money after I bailed out JM from Sullivan County Jail on 06/01/2021. Since I am getting no response from voicemails, I have no choice but to contact the OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL AND the SULLIVAN COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY GENERAL BARRY STAUBUS and file a Fraudulent Theft of Services Claim and let them handle it. I have multiple documentation of all the texts and the voicemails and recorded messages I left and he is still keeping my money. This is a crime. And my money should have been in an escrow by law. This has been 3 years and I have contacted A Hood multiple times and left many messages to no avail. He is a burgular and thief.

When she did wear one it was WAY too big and ill-fitting to the point of uselessness. I had already explained I usually print postage online but had no option today. No concern that 150,000 Americans are dead and the post office lobby was full of seniors today. this is in bluff city tn. super shady company that will start billing you without your…read moreauthorization and seems to have a whole system to rip people off. in my search for pest control I called a bunch of companies. some said they would come and look to see my issue and I was under the impression they would quote me after they looked. once they get your address this company just starts charging you. but they wait awhile before they charge you hoping you will forget whether you signed up with them. I figured the whole scam when I talked with them yesterday. I got confused and paid them for a service they claimed they did in February thinking it was the company I actually did hire. I realkzed after I paid them that they are not the company I hired. I told them there has been a mistake. anyway, before I figured out the issue I spoke to them about another property that needed service. they said they would check it out which they did the same day. i thought they were just going to check it out and quote me but without me authorizing it they set up bait stations and I found out from the technician they were going to start charging me. I remember 100% I did not authorize them to do anything other than look at the problem. this is where they get you, all they do is have a record of a phone call and then from there once they have an address of the property , your name and contact info they start charging you whether or not you agreed to it. then if you question whether you agreed to the service they use evidence of their phone log that you agreed to it when in reality all you agreed was for them to look at the property and do a quote. they were able to trick me on the supposed February service with this tactic but tried to get me on it again in the service after I talked to them yesterday. this is where I caught them, because I know i know I did not authorize service but they went and set traps and I guess were going to start billing me.

A few days later the offer fell through so we called to cancel the termite treatment. His words were, "Why?!?! Well it's your call!". He was very unprofessional. We decided to have Orkin treat the termites instead because we have used them before and we knew nothing and have ever even heard about Shaffer's Pest Control. Orkin came out and spent 2 hours under, around, and inside our home. They could not find any evidence of termites and said they didn't know what he saw but it definitely was not termites and there was nothing there to treat. They took pictures under our house of the healthy wood and Shaffer's did not provide pictures of what he saw. He would have got away with $700 of our money. Never use him...untrustworthy!
