If only all men did that!! (only kidding, boys...) He is very old school and thoughtful. My condition ultimately led me to need surgery and he and his staff were absolutely top notch. The care and compassion that they showed were really touching and helped me see the rainbow through all of the clouds. In the recovery room after the surgery, I teased one of the nurses about wanting a mimosa. A short time later, the nurse showed up with a cup of ginger ale and orange juice- it was pretty funny. His office is also impeccable with following up. Every test that I had done was promptly followed up with a phone call to communicate my results, most of the time within 24 hours. They sent me home with reading materials and information on support groups for people dealing with the same type of issue. They absolutely went the extra mile to make me feel like they cared. He also has later appointments a few times a month. I had to go in tonight and was able to get a 6 pm appointment with him and then was seen immediately in the lab. I've got to admit, old school thoughtfulness and compassion go a long way in healthcare.

The dr refused to give my any medication which I'd been on for over 6 years. So I'm just suppose to pee my pants at work. I also asked her for my antibiotic to prevent bladder infections & she refused to give it to me. I was just suppose to keep getting bladder infections over & over. I got billed $500+ for her to tell me to continue to be sick. The work part is that she put the information that I don't need the medication in my medical record so others Drs won't give it to me or make their own opinion because she's suppose to be an expert. I can't afford to see another specialist. I had to pay $300 out of network to go back to my old clinic to get my medication. She cost me $800+ to tell me to keep being sick. I wish I could think of her name. She should be fired.

I am one of those people that never go to a doctor unless I have to. I haven't had a family doctor…read moresince my last one had misdiagnosed me and after 4 medication changes I felt I was not getting anywhere with him. A year later I started having migraines every day for a month. Most of the time I have more than one a day but no more than 4 in a day. I had been seen at fairview ridges savage but I didn't realize I wasn't seeing a real doctor so I made the soonest available appointment with a doctor in hopes of having this doctor as my primary physician. I made the wrong choice and should have looked into this before I went. Dr. Pallegar was rushed and rude. It seems my appointment took less than 20 mins and I was passed on to a neurologist. It was quite clear I would not be having her become my primary physician. All I am looking for is a physician that listens and cares. One that hears everything and wants to get me better. I realize you dont get to know a patient in one day but how could u when u are quick to judge and diagnose without all the information. I wont be back and will research doctors before making appointments.

Got caught in what gadgets, services to make easy money but left out a few steps. Doesn't study aging women's needs like thought he was. Caught him in a few yellow lights that even though I appreciated all done for me, time to drop going there. Example: Visit is for 1 topic, when I got to weight loss, how my pee poops skipped over to promote a daily drink no one had read the ingredients .. was is gluten free. Honest staff and physician just not revealing potential useful information. There are people with a lot of common sense they haven't heard of .. like PBS Judith Wrightman.. not sure I got the last name spelling right. Dr. Amen about brain health are just 2. No mention of how grief support or being prepared is important. Was told he would make an area more male friendly then that didn't happen. He has males that at least accompany the females coming. I was hospitalized, went well, it could've gone better and was not given any reports, clinic notes to make any future hospital experience less upsetting and more pleasant. Having a PCP not mentioned and some of what was promoted there clashed with the common sense at a primary physician visit. There is potential at this clinic to be awesome yet they might forego it for what's easiest and safest financially. What they don't realize is a few tweeks would achieve concerns, be cheaper, turn them into an exceptional, very needed service provider niche.
