Wow! Five stars are not nearly enough for South Shore Brew Bus and our exceptional driver Mark! I had searched around trying to find the best service to take us to and from a few wineries and stumbled upon South Shore Brew Bus. We were celebrating a 40th birthday and started planning a little late. After submitting some of my info and details of what we were looking for, Chris reached out right away. He made the entire planning process painless and was an incredible help with suggestions and recommendations. I knew from the start things were going to work out well. We settled on the wine tour consisting of 3 wineries and lunch at a brewery, as well as transportation to and from each of our stops including pick up and drop off at our home! The day before our reservation I heard from our driver, Mark. Just this simple act settled some of my nerves. I was stressing leading up this about things going awry. What if our driver didn't show up? What if bookings were messed up since I booked last minute? You name it, I thought it. Mark confirmed our schedule for the day and we were set. The day of the reservation he showed up early to pick us up and start our day. We had less than perfect weather yet Mark kept us on time for each of our stops. Not only did he take care of us getting to and from each winery, he also provided us with a charcuterie tray, mimosas, and homemade cookies. He was also able to educate us and give us fun facts about each place we stopped. Mark was better than any personal assistant - it was like we've known him forever! Not a detail was left untouched. We had the BEST day celebrating thanks to Mark and South Shore Brew Bus! We are looking forward to booking a brew tour this summer! read more

My group of nine (eight women and myself) booked a winery tour with South Shore Brew Bus, and unfortunately our experience with our driver, Mark, left us feeling uncomfortable and unsafe by the end of the day. To start, Mark seemed friendly enough--he offered to take photos at each stop and gave us the rundown of the day. He mentioned that he had "seen it all," from wild bachelorette parties to loud groups, and reassured us that nothing we did would surprise him. Even with that, something about the vibe felt a bit off from the beginning. The girls in our group tried to include him in little moments and keep things light, but as the day went on, his energy felt stranger and more uncomfortable. The real issue happened at our last stop. Instead of Mark taking our photo like he had at every other winery (where he took multiple vertical and horizontal shots each time), I asked a random woman to do it. Right as she was about to snap the picture, Mark walked up quickly, told her he'd handle it, and took the phone from her. When one of my friends politely asked him to make sure the sign was in the background--just like he had done all day--he reacted rudely and visibly annoyed. He took only two rushed photos and handed the phone back without a word. Our entire group exchanged looks because the shift in his demeanor was so sudden and uncomfortable. Then, on the ride home, the situation escalated. Mark kept flooring the gas repeatedly, something he had never done during the previous six drives between wineries. Despite previously priding himself on being a safe driver, none of us felt safe at all. It completely ruined the end of our trip and made every woman on the bus uneasy--especially concerning given that we were a group of drinking adults trusting him to get us home safely. After we arrived back, one friend calmly addressed her concerns to him. Instead of apologizing, he got defensive. He eventually admitted he "overreacted" and said he was offended that she asked him to get the sign in the background because he's "been doing this for six years and knows how to take a photo." It was bizarre behavior, and at that point we simply tipped him and asked him to leave because he was making everyone extremely uncomfortable. Overall, our day started off great but ended on a very unsettling note. For a service that's supposed to provide a fun, relaxed, and safe experience--especially for groups of women--I can't recommend South Shore Brew Bus based on this encounter. I would strongly consider booking with a different tour company. read more

We used South Shore Brew bus to shuttle our crew for my daughters bachelorette party this past weekend. The bus was large and clean, completely prepped and ready for us with charcuterie,mimosas,Jell-O shots, water and chips . Our driver Rick was amazing, truly we above and beyond to make for a great experience. When the weather took a turn and our plans for the evening changed we asked our driver if we could extend our time. Although Rick was not able to , he quickly found Mark to help us extend the party and get us all back safely. Mark to the rescue. Highly recommend! read more

Bringing us snacks and waters, carrying our bags, walking us inside to each of our reservations to make sure we knew where we were going, literally everything. At every stop you have a reservation made for you AND your tab for tastings/lunch is covered including gratuity! No splitting bills, waiting for a check, venmoing friends, etc. That alone was worth a million dollars. Just booked the South Shore Brew Bus for my sister's bachelorette party this past weekend. I was truly blown away by the experience! We booked a van for eight girls and were assigned to the Ford Transit. Plenty of room for up to 10 people. We had water provided to us on the bus. Ahead of the trip, I was able to work with Chris to schedule our day. We wanted to do breweries and wound up deciding on Haymarket, Round Barn and Watermark. The tour includes transportation (including pick up and drop off), 4 drink tickets and lunch (which also included a drink!) We definitely felt that the tour had great value. The tour started at 11:30 and ended around 4:30. They can be somewhat flexible on timing to adjust for your schedule. Finally, shout out to Michigan Mark who was the BEST guide/driver for the day! Not only was he a very safe driver, but he really went above and beyond for us. He was very communicative on timing, got us waters at each location (important to stay hydrated!), made sure to point us to where the restrooms were, made accommodations for some of the new mothers on the bus and was just an overall joy to be around!! Just returned from our trip to New Buffalo, Michigan where we had the absolute pleasure of having Don as our driver and tour guide while visiting the wineries in the area. Don went above and beyond for our group while maintaining the brightest smile on his face. Shoutout to his wife for the delicious jello! He was very punctual and always made sure we were good and didn't need anything. He was also very patient with us! A bunch of loud women in their early 20s *cough cough or 30s lol* can be a handful after lots of wine, so patience is something you won't forget. My girlfriend booked this for my Bachelorette Party weekend event, and OH MY LANTA was it amazing. First off, our driver, Mama E, was the sweetest person in the world. SHE MADE US COOKIES & JELL-O SHOTS! Also, we met almost everyone with the company, which is family owned and they were so welcoming and loving, it felt like a family vacation...with booze. South Shore Brew Bus was fabulous! We used them for my sister's bachelorette. They picked us up at our air bnb and took us on the best wine tour! We had such a fun day and everything was perfect. Dave was our driver/photographer/tour guide, and he totally rocked!! On top of that, Chris was SO great helping me get the day planned out. He was able to schedule us at all the wineries we wanted and booked us at Round Barn Public House for a delicious lunch.
