    This beach is really nice, super clean, hardly saw any trash. Many access points between beach and boardwalk. Fine sand type. Lifeguards at selected spots. No alcohol or smoking allowed.

    Made us all get out of water because of the sharks feeding on the little fish!

    I love this beach. One of my favorites ever!!!!! Love it so so much. Recommend to anybody looking for a beach around the area

After 2 blocks, I was like where is the rest of the boardwalk? But then it was all Promenade. The Boardwalk starts at the 14th Avenue North pier and winds down through Plyler Park to the 2nd Avenue Pier. Everything was pretty much closed, and shops-hotels looked outdated and run down. I expected more for Myrtle Beach but it's possibly more lively during spring or summer.
