But that's okay The Pavillion at Port Orange is a great shopping venue it's not pretentious, it's not Rodeo Drive and those of us in the area appreciate its not all that. Look I can find those high end place when required and admit I enjoy shopping at those places occasionally but it's not necessary for everyday living. If I need a vegetable steamer or pair of flip flops I can come here dressed in my beach shorts and tee shirt do a little shopping and grab a decent lunch and not mortgage my house on the beach. This outdoor shopping arena was much needed and the developers did a great job providing a little of everything for everyday living and although there isn't any valet parking there is ample parking and no traffic jams. I still get a laugh out of the roundabout that seems to challenge a few but I think that was the intent.

The place is popular and people talk about it. It has souvenir stores, restaurants, candy stores, an ice cream shop, and other stores. It is colorful and clean inside. The entrance has a huge sign so it is easy to spot. This shopping center has a parking garage. What is convenient and great about parking is that is right across from the shops. The garage connects to the building with a walking bridge. The bridge was clean and colorful. A good place to take pictures. . . . I saw towards the back of the shops a bandshell. A nice area with chairs. I don't know if it's part of the shops but I just wanted to mention that if you keep walking towards the back there are more things to see.

The Publix and Mr. Petman Superstore are the two primary reasons that I am in this shopping plaza. This particular shopping plaza has definitely seen better days and needs a lot of better stores. Sunshine Park Mall is on Ridgewood Avenue, so it is extremely convenient and there is plenty of parking. With the lack of great shopping, I would definitely recommend shopping elsewhere if you want to do some window shopping, but if you are heading here for a particular business, you should have no issues. I was between giving Sunshine Park Mall two stars or three stars. I opted to give it three stars.

At least that is what I came here for. They also have a hair salon, a collectible toy store, and several other businesses. I would not say this would be a place to come and do some shopping, however if you have to come to one of these businesses, there's nothing really wrong with this place. I guess that I will give it three stores, because while there is nothing wrong with it, there is also nothing extraordinary really good about it. If you are looking just to do some shopping and see what a place has, I would recommend somewhere else.

My update on the once nice plaza to shop and eat. Several new businesses have gone in and they are…read morerevitalizing the plaza. So far so good - looking forward to the updates and the stores. Currently a barber shop (upstairs), salon/spa, smoothie bar and clothing boutiques. Bikini company moving over soon. They need to advertise better. In the past the only reason to come to the plaza was the upscale La Crepe En Haut Restaurant. When it closed an Italian restaurant went in but did not last. I hope the new group of tenants do well but they need better signage. No one going by will know what it there.
