Very rude unprofessional receptionist. unbelievable That they tolerate that behavior. All I did was question why she was asking for so much money when I have been going to the Jupiter office and have never paid that much. She threw up her hands and said " so now I have to tell you about your insurance " when I called blue cross they said that is not what I pay. I am responsible for my copay only! SAVE YOUR TIME AND COPAY! Dr. Gracielena Rodriguez has ABSOLUTELY no bedside manners! She is late for appointments and extremely rude! She was 35 minutes late for our last visit and didn't offer any apolgy, and to me that is a pretty big disregard for me and my time! I have made 4 trips to her office and each visit she had to remind me she has "several years of study" and she will invite you to find another clinic if you disagree with her! She could not seem to acquaint herself with my file and insisted on more than one occasion that I had my thyroid glance eradicated-and then kept arguing with me about it! She is hard to understand and dresses inappropriately for the office. Finding a replacement Endo will NOT be a big problem if the goal is to find a doctor with a a better business acumen that is respectful of her patient. By the way...the receptionist should get some manners! What a cold person! All she wanted was my copay! The lobby and the building suck as well! Old, run down and very dirty! Had a death in the family two days prior to my appointment. Called and left a voicemail to tell them of my situation. Three weeks later received a bill for a no-show. Explain to the front desk and to the doctor of my situation. Showed them an obituary on my phone of my father-in-law. They said sorry that's their policy to charge for a no-show. Show them the phone call on my cell phone records to prove that I called... They said sorry we have to charge you. Stay clear of these quacks! read more

Run away as fast as you can!!! Money over everything!!! Honestly that's their policy!!! My wife called in several months back due to not feeling well, during covid, and was told not to come in, fast forward to today. My wife goes for blood work, levels come back where dr needs to see her, and we are told by the office there was a 30.00 fee for not going to her last appointment, which she was told by them not to come in due to covid!!! Asked to speak with a manager as obviously this doesn't make much sense, Told by the manager that the Dr. Said she cannot and will not be seen until the balance was paid!!! Doesn't care all of a sudden that my wife's levels are off and there may be an issue. Dr Rodriguez is the worst. No bedside manners. Her exam consisted of her attacking anything I said about past diagnosis or treatment due to hormone imbalances. Adamantly insisted I was wrong about being menopausal, then realized I was. I felt as if I were being interrogated as I explained the tests and diagnosis I had. I was discharged from the practice after missing my new patient appointment with Dr. Rodriguez. If the office had called to follow up on my missed appointment they would have known I was in the emergency room that day and was very ill. Surely you can do better than that! I would not bother going to see dr. Munoz. I felt like a criminal for a disease I cannot control. I am not the one with the prescription pad, and I do not over eat. As it is I have had to deprive myself of fruit for many, many years. I am very sick , and very tired. Could barely get myself to the office. We have been a patient for 3-4 years and while the Dr's are great the owner treats his employees very poorly!!!! The pandemic and his treatment of his employees has really soured me towards this group. The owner is disrespectful to his employees except for the receptionist who doesn't even acknowledge your presence while you are the office he has shown zero compassion during the pandemic and its been said that he's so tight he squeaks (something that was said by staff that you could hear clear as day, they do try to speak Spanish sometimes to disquise their personal conversation but I speak Spanish among other languages as I'm sure others do, its just plain rude amongst the nurses and receptionist while waiting in the lobby) which is a bit confusing because I'm sure he's well paid through insurance as most are. This man's behavior towards his employees and people in general is appalling and for that reason I will be looking for another Dr, if you can find another office that treats all people with respect do it as this man does not deserve the business if he can't do better by his employees!! I have heard this disrespect when in the office and through conversations with some of his staff. Riccuto is okay but there are other endocrines out there who don't have nasty unprofessional people working their front desk. The woman answering phones and working with the patients is not professional at all - lacks customer service skills, needs to be fired for her bad attitude. Doctor is losing patients because of her. Don't bother taking your endocrine conditions, no matter how poorly you feel, to this group of 'professionals'. I've been a Type I insulin dependent diabetic for over 36 years, with 34 of those under the care of one of the most capable endocrinologists in South Florida, Dr Alberto Fernandez-Bravo in Plantation. When I moved to Martin County in 2016, this group of endocrine specialists were literally "the only game in town" that accepted my Florida Blue Cross Select insurance plan. Well, to make a longer story brief, their office in Stuart is run by an extremely rude staff of individuals that DO NOT LISTEN CAREFULLY TO THEIR PATIENTS. If they truly cared about the health of their clients, they need to learn the not-so-difficult skill of LISTENING. I ended up so frustrated with my particular doctor's nurse, that I too got very rude as she was NOT LISTENING and had cut me off in mid sentence several times over what became a very heated phone conversation regarding the exact details of what I needed done to replace the continuous glucose monitoring reader device that I had just recently inadvertently lost. Anyway, I was finally able to reach one of their off hours on-call doctors (Miller) who was patient enough to listen to my needs more effectively and was able to explain the matter in more detail to my doctor (Trepp). After everything was finally done to get the necessary NO AUTH REQUIRED simple RX for the reader device to my chosen supplier, all was good, or so I thought, after I received a phone call from the OWNER, a man named Sven, who seemed to honestly care about my situation telling me he would make sure that my doctor's nurse (Angie) would take care of everything, which she did shortly after that call. Well, today I received a USPS CERTIFIED LETTER signed by none other than Mr. Sven (couldn't even try to read his last name as it was only scribbled in cursive), stating that I was hereby officially "discharged" from using this practice any further. To say I was pissed, is an understatement. Anyway, there are much better endocrinologists all over south & southeast Florida, and I sincerely recommend you pass on this particular group, as I have now been "forced" to do as well, thanks to 'Sven'. Thanks for the wild ride you incredible BUTTHEAD. Hope you try to do better as I now understand why your Stuart office waiting rooms are always nearly empty and why there's rarely anyone in office past 4 PM. ;-) read more

I was traveling from a rural city more than an hour away for an 8am appointment with Dr. Monica Munoz on 11/13 and was 15 minutes late due to bad weather. I had tried to call ahead to tell them I was going to be late but they do not receive calls in the office until 9am. When I arrived, I apologized for being late and told them why. The receptionist told me she would have to see if I could still be seen. She left for a minute and came back and said that I would have to reschedule. I explained again that I had traveled from another city and was late due to weather but received no acknowledgement or empathy. She asked if I wanted to reschedule for that afternoon and I said no and that I would find another doctor. There was one person in the waiting room who heard the conversation and stopped me as I was going out to tell me how ridiculous it was and that I should write a review online. read more
