I scheduled an appointment with this primary care physician over 60 days ago because I wanted to…read moreestablish care with a new PCP. Before my appointment, I completed all of the required forms through the patient portal. At no point did anyone from the office contact me to explain what I needed to bring or verify that everything was in order. Since most insurance companies no longer issue physical insurance cards, I had already uploaded my insurance information and ID through the portal. When I arrived for my appointment, I was told there was an issue with my insurance and that I couldn't be seen. The staff was not helpful in explaining the problem or offering a solution. I called my insurance company while I was in the office, and they confirmed that, based on my plan, I should have been able to see any provider. Instead of helping resolve the issue, the office created unnecessary obstacles that ultimately prevented me from being seen. I wasted 30 minutes of my day and left without receiving any care. My experience with the front office and customer service was extremely disappointing. Before scheduling an appointment here, I would recommend making sure every insurance detail has been verified in advance, because the office does not appear to do this proactively. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this practice.

I tried explaining my family history of Stomach cancer, and Olga Fernandez, ARNP, refused to schedule an Endoscopy. Instead, Olga ordered medication for my gastric reflux because of symptoms I described. Thank God I found another Gastroenterologist, who performed my Colonoscope and Endoscopy, and found several, Polyps in my Stomach, which were found because they had the clinical knowledge to order my Endoscopy, which is as important as a Colonoscopy, and equally Life.-Saving.
