So, in recent visits to Dr. Vargheese, I noticed she seems to have started using local nursing…read moreschool students to do the majority of her work in the office. It took the girl that took me back FIVE attempts to get my blood pressure before she gave up. She also spoke to me in a rather unprofessional way....ok, lets be honest it was completely ghetto. Then, when calling back for a refill for a medication that I've been on for over five years now, I got a weeks' worth of run around and B.S. before I sought out another doctor who happily wrote the prescription that day. I don't know if they are trying to save money or what, but the quality of service has taken a nosedive.

The office staff was completely underqualified, it took 2 of the girls to take my blood pressure and they still got it wrong! My license was "questionable" as I have a out of state ID, they wouldnt take it as a valid ID, even thought I paid with a credit card for services rendered. I went back with my boyfriend, for credibility since we live together. I explained my history and wanted to get back on the medication I stopped taking 4-5 months prior. I had the list of perscriptions/doseage I used to take and she wanted to try something different even after I protested. OK 2 days later and this new medication isnt working, and she refused to do anything about it.! Horrible service and not adequte for general paitient care. they shoudl be reported.

After more than 20 years as a patient at this practice, my experience ended in a way that was both…read moresurprising and disappointing. Patients were notified only about two weeks before Christmas that the practice would be switching to a concierge model. Shortly afterward we were told that my primary care physician (who had clearly expressed concerns about the change) would be leaving the practice. When I responded to the office message expressing concern about how the transition was handled, the owner dismissed me as a patient. Being removed from a medical practice simply for expressing criticism is troubling. Patients should be able to ask questions or voice concerns without fear of retaliation. If the goal of concierge medicine is to offer a more personal and respectful patient experience, this transition felt like the opposite. I understand practices changing business models, but the short notice, the loss of a long-standing physician, and dismissing a patient of over two decades for speaking up reflects very poorly on how this practice treats its patients. Long-term relationships in healthcare should be handled with far more professionalism and respect.

I had an annual exam with Brandi Blivens and was sent for annual bloodwork. Shortly after I…read morereceived a bill from Quest for $523 for bloodwork not covered by an annual visit. Mind you, there were no complaints at the office visit as verified by Brandi's notes. I spoke to Brandi's nurse to rectify payment/clarify why bloodwork was ordered that was not medically necessary. Nurse (Mike ?) agreed with me and said he would have Brandi call me back. 4 phone messages were left and she never returned my calls. My last message stated I would be seeking payment via small claims court. That prompted office manager called me back screaming "Quest rep is coming into office to help us re-code, we will take care of it." Also, I was being released as patient because I questioned why bloodwork was done. No further bills from Quest were received and I forgot about the whole thing. A year later, I have a debt collection letter seeking payment on behalf off Quest. I guess the angry office manager lied? Contemplating small claims court because no other patients should have to go through this. Medical incompetence and unethical. Stay away from this practice. **Look at "owners response" to my review to see consistency unethical behavior. I had NO medical issues at office visit, it was an annual wellness visit. Better yet, look at all of the owner's responses to negative reviews.
