Vicky is the pantry manager and has excellent skills in gathering free supplies and food to be donated. Many south bay companies have come together to become involved and give to this gilroy community in their time of need. Through Gavilan College they offer students to work here for minimum wage. What an excellent way to give back. As well as a great way to earn some much needed money while being a student. Thanx Gavilan =)

I got to the point where I was just skimming my way through the racks and if there was a color or pattern that caught my eye I would pull it out. Scored on a black leather tote which was soft and roomy too. Also found an office bag to carry my notebooks and office supplies. Prices were very reasonable and they were having a sale on white tags. Cute Tommy shirt was only $1.99 and the other 2 were $3.99. All three were name brand and in good condition.

Simply told that that "didn't look good for me" and I moved on because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I didn't have a guilty conscience for something I didn't do. I told them they could thoroughly search me and my belongings considering I didn't own so much as a lighter. I guess that wasnt good enough because a few days later I was told that a member of the board had moved to have me evicted. With no real evidence whatsoever. That's what you get for being honest with these people. False accusations and threats to be put out on your butt. And from what another woman living there told me I'm far from the first person to have that happen. And all of this within not even a full week of me staying there. I didn't stick around to see what else could possibly go wrong living there, I packed up my stuff, left, and moved in with the father of my child with whom my relationship is incredibly strained, because I had no other options The woman who live there are lovely, and even the staff themselves conducts themselves in a friendly manner, but if you have any skeletons in your closet whatsoever, be prepared to be treated like a criminal and probably be the first one to be accused if anything happens.

He is now 23 and just recently told me the horror of living there. On Thanksgiving we could not be together during that time, my father (his grandfather) drove over there to bring him a plate. My son warmed it up and the staff took it from him and threw it in the garbage. My son said he went to his room and just cried. Other times he was thrown to a quiet room and as he had his meltdown the staff would make fun of him. If I could take back time I would and to warn parents of who you are placing in your childs care, especially with a mental illness and to carry future trauma. shame on you whoever you were at the time. If I only knew earlier that these events happened many of you staff would have had an investigation at hand.

They were a bit high for a Goodwill store in my opinion. I would rather go to an At Home, Cost Plus, or Ikea. For the same price, or a bit more a Cost Plus, I could get brand new furniture. The rest of the store had the same huge selection of items. I was able to peruse the aisles for a long while lost in all the cool secondhand stuff.
