We recently received our wedding photos, and words can't describe how happy we are with them! The shots, lighting, and editing are absolutely beautiful and captured the magic of our day. Our guests have also raved about how stunning the photos are, and how perfectly Mike captured our vibes. Many shared our sentiment of how great of a photographer he is. We also did our engagement session with Mike, and, as a couple who's a bit shy about posing, we let him know upfront that we might need some guidance. Mike was amazing at helping us relax and feel natural, which transitioned beautifully on the wedding day. His calm and friendly presence made it easy to just enjoy the moment and let him work his magic. On the wedding day, Mike was both professional and flexible. We had a list of must-have shots, which included a 21-person wedding party and family, and he worked efficiently to get each one while still capturing plenty of organic, candid moments. He was very realistic about timing, giving us guidance on what was achievable without ever making us feel rushed. Working with Mike was easy and enjoyable from start to finish. If you're looking for a photographer who will capture the authentic beauty of your day and create breathtaking images, we highly recommend Mike!

I've never experienced such friendly, professional, and expedited service from any photo studio…read more My dad needed passport photos taken, and after visiting Fedex and CVS pharmacies where they were unable to print in the specified dimensions, Imagix came to the rescue. They knew the exact dimensions and they were patient with my 92-year-old father. They even personally delivered the photos directly to us while we ate lunch next door. I can't recommend them enough.

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

We've done practically every family photo here, along with so many of the themed holiday sessions -- Valentine's Day, Easter, Christmas, and more. They always do such a beautiful job with the sets and photos, but what really keeps us coming back is the experience they create for our kids and our family. We have so many memories documented here that I know we'll treasure forever. And our annual holiday photos with Santa have become especially special to us. My girls are completely convinced that he is the real Santa and that any other Santas they see are just his friends helping him out because, obviously, the real Santa is very busy taking pictures with them That alone tells you how magical they make the experience for the kids. We're so grateful to have found a studio we trust to capture our family as our kids grow. So many milestones, holidays, and little seasons of life are hanging on our walls because of them. We'll absolutely continue coming back!

Michael handled our fun, chaotic bunch with so much professionalism, patience, and kindness. He was incredibly accommodating and helped guide us through all the different groupings needed to make the photoshoot a success. The pictures turned out beautifully, and we couldn't have asked for a better place -- or a better person -- to help us capture such a special family moment.

We were a bit nervous about getting enough photos from the ceremony, since Wayfarers Chapel has a very strict time limit for how long we could take photos and do the ceremony (2 hours). Carissa is on their recommended vendors list, so she knew exactly where and when to take all the photos so that we didn't waste any time and so that the photos would look AMAZING. I was so glad we had her there because otherwise I'm sure we wouldn't have been able to get all the photos we needed to in that time period. Also, we LOVE her photography style, which (to us) seemed happy, airy, + romantic. She brought a second photographer with her (Dipan) and they were both professional, efficient, and fun to work with -- all of which we greatly appreciated especially given our time constraints. She is also very prepared: a few weeks before the wedding, she sent out a detailed questionnaire asking what kind of photos we definitely wanted, any particular special details, how much direction we needed, if we wanted to be romantic/goofy/etc... which really tailors the photography experience to each couple's personalities. My husband and I are not used to posing in front of the camera so we asked for A LOT of direction... and Carissa and Dipan knew exactly how to pose us and make us feel relaxed. We couldn't even recognize ourselves because the photos looked so good!! We are so happy with Carissa and her team. I seriously cannot say enough good things. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer, not just for a wedding but for any occasion!
