All of my deliveries have arrived perfectly, packaged great and are still very warm - the soups still had to cool down! One time the restaurant was out of what I had ordered, Hometown Xpress both called and texted me to let me know as well as offering me some other options. Do not order through this company! I'm skeptical they're even legitimate. We ordered pizza through…read morethem for a retirement party at 9am. Their ETA for delivery was for 11:45a. When I noticed at 11:30 that there was still no progress as far as preparation or ready for pick up, I called the pizza place and they had no knowledge of the order. When I tried to call WeDeliverEats, no one answered. After 10 attempts of trying to contact via phone and email, I got a text at 11:50a that the order had to be canceled. Now we're food less for the party.

Please don't use this service. It looks like I'm not alone in having a horrible experience with…read morethem. They charged me the money and did not deliver the food, and did not return my call. I'm calling the credit card company to not allow payment to them. It's extra unfortunate because I was having food delivered to my friend, and her family who's husband (and father respectively) is dying. I felt awful that they did not deliver the food and that my friend was inconvenienced when she's already going through so much.
