They barely allow hip hop artists because of an incident where the cameras caught a few artists with guns on them. They are very strict about that. Unlike bigger chains like Guitar Center where they just want your money and kick you out, you can have a long conversation with the people working here to make sure you're purchasing the instrument right for you. The pool section is my personal favourite aspect of this YMCA. Jeremy the Aquatics Director and the Head Life Gaurd Kevin are true professionals and a general pleasure to work with.
