We asked her to photograph our parents and us (their children and families) for their 50th wedding anniversary. There were 6 adults and 6 kids ages 1-13, and she captured many great photos with different groupings of our families, incorporating ideas from kids and adults alike. As I expected, our day was a flash in the pan. In the weeks after our wedding, I've thought about so many little moments that were unanticipated and so important - that I wish I could have remembered a little better. When Stacey Hedman sent us our wedding photos (so much earlier than I ever would have expected them!) - oh my goodness - there was not a single special, unanticipated, important moment missed!! What is most mind-blowing to me is how intuitive Stacey is with the camera. How could she have been there for each of these moments? And MOST baffling - I don't even remember her snapping these memories! Stacey is absolutely amazing at what she does.
