We booked Sound Prodigy for our wedding at a vineyard in Escondido. Setup was early and clean, the ceremony and cocktail audio were dialed, and the reception never dragged. He is friendly in a normal human way, not a hype man way, which matters if you are the type of couple who does not want a DJ narrating your evening. His announcements were crisp and everybody knew what was happening without a lot of yelling into a mic. We hired Pat for both our ceremony and our reception and he completely knocked it out of the park all day long. The app that he provides his clients makes it SO EASY to setup the songs you want to play and even lets you put together a schedule for the day, which we found to be incredibly useful during planning. On the day of the wedding, Pat showed up early to setup his equipment at two different sites and because he is a professional, he didn't need to worry us with questions about where things needed to go. We had a DJ emergency after the DJ that we usually use for events stopped returning our calls and canceled the day of the event. After calling five or six other DJ services and not being able to find someone to come out on such short notice, we called Sound Prodigy, and they were able to help us out. We got a real sense of professionalism and customer service from the manager and owner who we spoke to on the phone, and this was continued when the DJ Alex showed up at our event and knocked it out of the park. He played music that was perfect for the mood, and even took the initiative and made announcements about prizes and showings of the units that we were showcasing that evening. DJ Pat did our wedding last year in June and OMG it was great! Very helpful and accommodating with my crazy bride brain and made it so personable during our meeting when my husband and he found out things they had in common. Played the songs we chose and included some that I did not think of that worked out great. During the Father/Daughter dance, the song cut out right in the middle to everyone's surprise. I guess normally a bride would flip out but I saw it as a blessing in disguise. My father was soooo nervous and I could tell he was feeling embarrassed from the mistakes. When the song stopped and we got over the initial shock, dad and I laughed, sang the rest of the song out loud, the whole room sang along with us and we finished the dance. So glad that someone filmed the whole experience and my father and I have that memory.
