Apparently, our underwood generator was not charging correctly. Locals told us to go to Dakota Battery & Electric for troubleshooting. I thought that we would be in town awhile to get an appointment. When I went in to the shop, I was warmly greeted and told that they only had one tech on duty, but they'll do their best to get me on the road asap. Within two hours, Mark had diagnosed and repaired our issue (frayed voltage regulator wires) and had us on our way. Awesome business and people!

Mark's Auto got us in within minutes after I called. They immediately took it for a test drive, and diagnosed the problem shortly thereafter. Turns out a rear end seal was leaking, causing the truck rear end to slightly lower itself, allowing the heat shield to clang and bang on the drive shaft. They resolved the issue and discovered that the front end 4 wheel drive was not properly activating itself due to a faulty vacuum issue, and they resolved that as well. I was out by 10:00 am and on our way. I want to thank Dan for taking his time to explain the issues so I had full understanding of what was malfunctioning. Can't ask for more than that! We feel fortunate to have worked with Mark's auto and Dan! Now, on our way west! Thanks, Doug LeClair Anacortes, Wa 98221

It has been a reliable vehicle and Mark has been there every step of the way with correct diagnosis of a problem, reasonable prices, and great about getting it in and out for oil changes and other routine maintenance. I can't recommend him highly enough - especially when you have an older vehicle. He doesn't sell tires but his referral to Bargain Barn was right on! He just replaced my brakes and battery and was as thorough about replacing my duct-taped windshield wipers as he was with the larger repairs.

Another amazing experience at Menards--thanks to Jason!…read more This is actually the second time I've left a glowing review for Menards because I continue to be blown away by the customer service. I walked into the Rapid City, South Dakota store with a list of plumbing items and zero clue where to find anything. That's when Jason stepped in! He didn't just point me in the right direction--he personally helped me track down every single item on my list with patience, kindness, and a great attitude. I left the store feeling supported and totally taken care of. Jason deserves a raise! Menards, you've got a rockstar on your team. Thank you again for making something stressful feel so easy. When I…read morefirst walked in to Dents Plus I could tell that the shop was professional and did quality work - but I couldn't have imagined how great the experience would be. First, the cost: The insurance company estimate was crazy low, and I expected to somehow get hit with a bill for overages alongside my super high deductible. Jody and the team revised the estimate to make sure every single thing was it in line and processed it though Geico with absolutely no push back. They even saved me money. Timing: a majority of my work was PDR and glass so while they had a ton of work going on from the several hail storms this summer, they fit me in within the next week. AND they met me to pick up the car, AND they stayed at the shop until 10 pm on a Saturday to wait for me when I came back late from the airport. I've used around 5 bodyshops in the past (welcome to hail season in South Dakota). I know that these guys will be the only shop I use from now on! Good people, good price, good work and great service.
