(This move has been a stressful one for me.) They called to confirm the night before, and on the morning of, my two gents (shout out to Ross and CJ!) showed up 30 mins early. EARLY! That's unheard of in this day and age. I was impressed!!!! It took these two about 3hrs to unload our 16ft POD. I wasn't aware, but they do a 10% military discount. (We paid cash to avoid the 3% card fee.) There was a $100 deposit at the time of booking, which came off our bill. And of course, we tipped--which they are allowed to accept. (Thanks Ken for being an amazing owner that allows that!) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LMS for your moving needs. While this move was out of pocket for us, I hope that they're contracted with the military for our next (and FINAL, hallelujah) move. Ross and CJ, much love to you both. Life threw many curve balls and required me to move back from Richlands to new bern. They moved me again. Amazing service per the usual. everything went into a large shipping container for most part while my new house is being built. James, Melvin and Kenan were so wonderful. Even cracking jokes when I was getting overwhelmed to take my mind off my stress prior to this move, I stopped in office to get more moving supplies. Mr David knew just what I needed. so did Kristen. I can't say enough how thankful I am for these guys. how wonderful they are. they will be coming back to empty my shipping container in a few months into the new house.

They charged $85 travel surcharge when we moved from Beaufort to Newport/MHC border. -Movers were pleasant but obviously did not move quickly. We tried two movers the first time, and three this time--same amount of time to load and unload! SO save your money if you still chose to use them 2. HORRIBLE customer service. They damaged our headboard and a coffee table. They said they'd repair it quickly. I repeatedly had to call them to find out where it was...Christy was the only pleasant person when I talked to her, everyone else said it "was out of their control!" After calling and always hearing--"next week", we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and then I called the State Utilities Commission in Raleigh. They immediately called me back and called Acme. Suddenly my stuff was ready for delivery the next day! IT TOOK SIX WEEKS for them to get it to us. In summary, if you want to: 1. Over pay 2. Receive no customer service 3. Live without a bed for 6 weeks 4. And have your furniture permanently mismatched THEN by all means THIS IS the company for you!

We're military and the military sent them to us for a cross country move. We have moved several…read moretimes and have never had this issue. They stole from us, nothing major but still the fact that they would take items that don't belong to them was beyond comprehension. When we called them on it, they flat out denied it and the manager said that everyone goes through background checks. No attempt to rectify or try to fix the issue. It was truly disappointing. By the way Yes, I'm sure they go through backgrounds but all that means is that they've never been charged with a crime. The simplest thing to do would have been is to check your truck for our items! We will NEVER use them and please beware! I guess they assume that as military we get reimbursed anyway but wow I can't believe how blatant they where. Please stay away! Especially military. We've notified Camp Lejeune and Cherry Point as well.
