Final Edge has a decent selection and I have found a few hidden gems there. Most of the pricier records, I already have in some form so I'm just going in there looking for bargain bin records or collections. The last time I walked out of there, I believe I had 10 records for $4. If I'm not careful, I could spend hours in here just looking through records. Their prices come at a premium, which I understand for supporting local business, however I expect that to come with premium customer service, passion and expertise to warrant the prices. The staff hangs out in a seating area where they seem very bothered to answer inquiries. The staff is not approachable and it is not clear who is working. When the are chatting amongst themselves it is not clear if they are helping a customer but ended up seeming to just be the staff. I experienced this each visit. Despite the organization, the store does feel a bit dirty. I will likely still go by to browse but wish they had better service.

When we tried to play the CD's in our high-end Marantz SA-11S1 audio player, it would not recognize any of the disks. Usually, we can insert CD's that look like they've been drug down the street and scratched badly, and they still play, but it would not play any of these. Nor would the CD players in our cars would recognize them. We checked the internet. There is a known issue with this Box set. We attempted to return it, we didn't wish for cash back; store credit would have been fine. But we were refused. We have been customers with Music town for over 40 years, and never once have tried to return anything. Anytime we walked in we would often spend over $1000. We enjoyed shopping there. Unfortunately, this is NOT how you treat your VIP customers. Or ANY customer. Stand behind what you sell or GTFO of the business. James would have never refused to compensate with at least store credit. We are very disappointed with the new owners. We left the un-working box set there and left. We will not be back. It was decades later since 2 of my Ultra 2008 cd made of their minds up to crack into 3's on me. The pain & agony of watching them as the lay damaged, unfixable, and unplayable. My Ultra 2008 & Ultra Trance 2008. Two completely different cds & songs though with similar names. But both brought in 2008 at Walmart. The summer of 69' is when we used to watch the sunset fall and the shores of tides wash in. A peaceful ambient. I glared into the souls of both wreckless cd's. Thinking where and how will I ever be able to find these cds..? Time passes by, weeks turn into hard cold months. From cd shoppe to record store no sign. Lost without a trace, until one day a postage stamped Soundwaves came in the mail. Out of distress and wearyness. I jumped up and took a long drive. Upon arrival, Soundwaves sits in a blacked alley. The one and only street light flickers. As I approach the lonely building on the corner of here and there. I enter into the locked fixation of nebula stargaze. Every pattern and spiral, space besides me. Bright colors, blurred sounds, the distorted faces. Goblin Wang. A distance memory of what I didn't know to what I know now. The trance cds sit and wait. The cold case reopens and the case is closed. All the cds I was ever looking for were zapped into my euphoric state of mind. The anguished price blew me away like an atomic bomb my long lost pain turned into more pain when I knew I couldn't get the cds. Leaves turned brown & the hollow rot disappeared into unknown.
