I absolutely love it here! Been shopping at Sound Bites for years and never yet been disappointed. Very pleasant staff and such a wide variety of products despite it being quite small floorspace-wise. Large fridge section and freezer section as well as fruit/veg section, dry goods, small (and delicious!!) deli counter, tins/jars and toiletries/household products, even some pretty cards and stationary at the back. :) You get a really lovely community feel shopping there, you never feel like you're being jipped or ripped off. I like all the healthy living/eco issues leaflets and magazines in there that are nigh on impossible to find anywhere else in the city centre. And of course there's the scrummy Yaffle Café upstairs! I also highly recommend their jute shopping bags, they hold a surprisingly large amount of shopping and last forever, I've had mine for two years and it's good as new. A great little place where you can get almost all of your weekly shop with no trouble. A tiny bit pricey compared to the supermarket giants, but still impressively competitive. read more
