Even the negative ones; their response felt sincere and finding an opportunity to try to make things right. Reached out to this clinic for an emergency for my new kitten. I sent a Yelp message late into the night and was surprised to receive a message back from the owner. After asking a few screening questions, he offered me an appointment next day. The "paperwork" process was super easy and solely electronic. It took less than 5 minutes. Day of the appointment, I showed up and called to check in my kitten. Currently they are not allowing fur parents to enter the clinic and ask that you wait outside in your car. Once checked in, my kitten was collected right at her appointment time. After a short amount of time, Dr. Beal (the vet!) came out and updated me on what they were recommending. She explained that I was scheduled to be with Dr. Singh but he was still in surgery and she assured me that we were in good hands. She was so sweet and explained everything that she had observed. She walked me through what steps she wanted to take next and how to handle the at home care. Talk about going above and beyond my expectations at a vet office! The receptionist, who was 2 days new, handled the estimate and billing like a pro! She helped me get scheduled for a follow up appointment and made she I had a receipt for my payment. I enjoyed chatting with her on the phone and she sealed the deal on making this place our new veterinarian office! Kudos to the entire staff here; I felt really taken care of and I wasn't even the patient!

Had to reluctantly board our Yorkie for 7 days for the first time ever. After a previous boarding…read moreexperience with our previous Yorkie at another facility (that has since closed down), I was very anxious about possibly repeating the experience. However, the entire process and stay at Eastside Vet was excellent. Pre-boarding prep: A wellness exam with their medical team is required before which makes sense so that they are familiar and able to provide medical treatment if needed. But it was also helpful as the vet also explained the boarding care and what to expect. Then a thorough intake form is completed to ensure the staff are aware of any and all care needs, i.e. diet/meals, behaviors, preferences, etc. Any details specific to our pup to help keep his daily routine as much as possible. During boarding: I did elect to pay for an additional potty break/walk, playtime, and daily photo update. Would recommend the photo update if you have any separation anxiety. The staff attendants shared detailed daily summaries and the cutest photos (attached examples). They were so patient and caring with our pup and this really helped to ease any anxiety. I was also able to provide home food, snacks, toys, bed, and blanket. Note: there is no attendant overnight (6p-8a) but I think that might be an industry standard. Pick up: staff were very nice, efficient and everything was already prepaid online, returned all provided items intact and any remaining food/treats. They provided a post boarding care sheet as well. Cost: compared to other facilities, it is on the higher range but I think still reasonable comparable. But also worth the higher rate as there is a full medical team on site during their regular business hours (it's a vet clinic also), so if there are any medical treatments or emergencies during the stay, the medical team are there to assist. Overall, would highly recommend and board with Eastside Vet again if needed. Staff were very communicative and caring and overall so sweet to our little pup.

I am so grateful to the entire team for their outstanding care, expertise, compassion and professionalism. Dr. Martha Cook will take time to check on Bella via phone or email and I genuinely appreciate her for that. Again, thank you Eastside Veterinary Associates for all you do!

During this time we visited other vets and specialists like Blue Pearl and happy tails inpatient hospital. Dr. Lee has been the only one vet that has never been wrong. He is an absolute world class veterinary physician. Without him my dog would have never went into remission and had another strong couple of years and my cat wouldn't have be here going so strong 3 years after he was diagnosed with CHF. My cat has been seeing doctor Kim recently for managing his diabetes that came back. Although it hasn't been that long that we have been seeing him compared to Dr. Lee, I've been nothing but impressed by his expertise, friendliness, and professionalism. The staff are nothing short of angels. They are always helpful and always friendly. Everyone there deeply cares for animals and their well being. I've never gotten the impression from any staff that there job is just a pay check or the patients are just a number. You can tell all of them love and care for each animal to the level the owner does. Absolutely the best vet. I can never thank them enough how good they have been to my pets.

Their pricing for the feline spay surgery was reasonable, and procedure was pretty straightforward. Drop off the pet around 8-9am, and pick up around noon. There was a bit of a line during pickup because one of their machines was down, so they had to serve all customers AND answer the phone. It must've been quite busy for them. They gave detailed instructions for aftercare, as well as the pain & antibiotic medicine. I think we found our kitty's new regular vet. :)

Our experience at BluePearl was one of the most frustrating veterinary experiences we've ever had…read more When people bring a beloved pet to an emergency hospital, they're scared, vulnerable, and looking for expertise, communication, and compassion. Unfortunately, our experience fell far short of those expectations. We brought our dog in after she had been vomiting for days, hadn't eaten in two days, was panting heavily, whining in pain, and appeared to be having difficulty breathing. She was taken to the back immediately, but after that we were left sitting in an exam room for over an hour with no updates. We eventually went to the front desk ourselves to ask what was going on. We were told the doctor would be in shortly, and then waited another hour before he finally came to speak with us. During that conversation, we learned for the first time that our dog had arrived with a temperature of 104 degrees. We asked whether she still had a fever, and the doctor didn't know and said he would have to go check. About 30 minutes later, another staff member brought treatment estimates that included a quick scan ultrasound the doctor had never mentioned. This was the first time anyone told us that a quick scan ultrasound had supposedly been performed. We had questions about the findings, but no one could clearly explain them. When the doctor returned, he recommended additional bloodwork before realizing information from recent bloodwork was already in our dog's chart. Watching him review the chart in front of us after making recommendations significantly undermined our confidence in the care being provided. After approximately four hours, we left with a bill of more than $600, no diagnosis, no treatment plan, and no clear answers about what was causing our dog's symptoms. We were charged for an IV catheter and a quick scan ultrasound. Despite being told our dog arrived with a 104 degree fever, nobody ever explained why no treatment was provided for it. Emergency medicine is complicated, and not every case has an immediate diagnosis. What isn't acceptable is spending four hours in an emergency hospital with so little communication, so little doctor interaction, and so few answers.
