I was visiting the 'aina and needed to get my house dance fix. My friend recommended me this place so I decided to check out their beginner's class.
AMBIANCE:
Surroundings - It's not the most vibrant place, just a place by a lot of businesses and studios. You're not in the most lit up area of the town so be sure to be aware of your surroundings. The actual building is pretty neat as though it may be deceiving there are a lot of musicians practicing in their respective studios. It may be difficult to find but it's on the 2nd floor.
Parking - If available you can park at the warehouse or if it's packed, check the 2nd floor.
Customer Service - Lyanne is awesome! Creative, approachable, and patient. Great qualities of an instructor.
TL;DR OVERALL
5 Stars. Though it was brief, it was a really fun session - the music was on point, the classmates were engaged, and Lyanne had great energy. House can be difficult to learn but with personal commitment and a good learning environment, it's good fun.
