5/5 stars First and…read moreforemost, Meera has completely revolutionized the way I see and practice yoga in many more ways than one! I first started working with Meera almost 2 years ago (I have been practicing for about 10 years now) when she started offering weekly virtual classes during the beginning of the pandemic. This immediately helped me with my mental health using her unique flows, sometimes it almost felt like dancing, to calm my mind as the stress of my tech job began seeping into my personal life. Fast forward 6 months and I was so happy to join her studio sessions and workshops in person at Yoga Garden where she went deeper into both the physical (offering outstanding adjustments) and mental (through breath work, meditation, and even chanting!) aspects which continued to help improve my overall wellbeing and even got me through some of the most stressful points of my career to date. Fast forward again to today and I'm so excited to have joined her new private 1-1 in-person offering. She has built numerous highly personalized routines and she not only teaches me when we are together but has helped me to build a sustainable self-practice that I use daily. The practice includes a combination of asanas (typical movement poses and flows), pranayama (breath work which has improved both my lung capacity as well as calming the constant chatter in my mind), and chanting (something I had never previously considered and which has allowed me to build more focus into my daily life). Meera offers a style of yoga that I have yet to find anywhere else where she conducts a truly holistic practice rather than the traditional, fitness-forward, style which is exactly what I have needed to enjoy a well-rounded lifestyle. I would encourage anyone looking to experience yoga that goes all the way back to its holistic roots to give Meera's sessions a try. Her sessions and style have flipped standard studio yoga on its ear to the point where it has become a major part of my life and has given me a completely new outlook on how I approach my health and wellness and is something I will absolutely carry on for the rest of my life! 10/10 I would recommend Meera to all ages, demographics, and lifestyles!

Honestly the sequences are all relatively similar but it's something about the instructors alignment of their music to their sequence that resonates most with me when I practice. I generally do sculpt and so there's more beat to movement but I do love the C2s as well. I was a long time member until I moved out of the area. I would say that this studio gets a 4 star is because the time I attended the most, their heat was broken for a good 3 weeks and so classes were canceled. It made it difficult for a few weeks but also the studios are upstairs then the 2nd downstairs but you can't exit that way, you have to go up and back down to exit. I don't mind a few more steps added to my daily goal but it didn't make much sense. I did appreciate that it was handicap accesible though so maybe that's why.

I went in on a weeknight after reserving a Yoga Sculpt class via ClassPass and the woman at the…read morefront desk let me know that the class is conducted in near-100-degree heat, which wasn't advertised on their ClassPass class description. I think the woman was just used to folks who are pretty familiar with their setup, so she spoke at lightning speed and didn't really leave much room for questions. But once she asked if I had take a hot yoga class before, I was a little puzzled. I have, but I now have a medical condition that prevents me from feeling totally comfortable with taking that risk, so I specifically looked for yoga classes that weren't heated. (You wouldn't believe how hard that seems to be to find these days!) Once she let me know, I had to leave and unfortunately, I never got the credits back from ClassPass. The lack of cooler classes aside, the space was clean and sanitary. It seemed like it could be a nice place for a workout if they had something available that was up my alley.

Personally I make every excuse not to come to class but once I'm here and I'm done, it's 110% worth it. You'll feel stronger, relaxed and all the stress and worries just go away. I come here to not think about the outside world for just an hour and it really works. Whether it's your first time coming or you've been a yogi forever, I'm sure you can agree with me but the classes are great and as long as you come here with an open mind, you'll keep coming back! Ok down to the logistics. First things first, if you're new, welcome! Signing up is easy. You can either sign up at the location or online and you get a free week! What a great deal right? You can literally take as many classes and try them all before you commit to a set of classes or the black tag membership. Next, sign up for classes online and then head on over. Once you get here, check in the front and then walk to the back to drop off your belongings. Although this place is in a nice location, I would bring a lock just in case you leave your personal belongings. I usually leave my mat bag and then bring my wallet, keys and phone to class but that's because I always forget to bring my lock. Then walk over to room 1 or 2 for your class. Set up your mat and enjoy your class. Some other key tips or just things to know and bring - a water bottle and a towel to dry yourself off. Oh and try not to step on other yogi's mats if you're trying to move around in a crowded class. That's it! Enjoy and hope you found this review helpful. If you did, give me a thumbs up and a follow!

The yoga room felt comfortable, very spacious and the people who come here all are quite friendly with one another. They also had wipes which I used to wipe down our blocks. I set up my mat towards the front of the room by the side wall (closet) and as I was getting ready to lay down and do some stretching I noticed a cockroach running across on my mat and luckily I had the wipes I used to wipe down my mat so I was able to smush it but ughh was so disgusted by it, and I couldn't help but think what if I hadn't seen it and I was already laying down it may have ran and brushed up next to me or got in my hair. And I wouldn't have seen it, but the fact that I did put me in a totally different headspace the rest of the night and felt unsettled by it the rest of the class. Well after class ended and the lights came on and I was getting ready to clean up and roll my mat, I AGAIN saw a bug (I don't know what kind) making its way on my mat! Very disappointing and uneasy. The class itself was great, the instructor was wonderful, it did get quite warm in there during our class which I noticed our instructor opened the door to let some air in. I did let the instructor know after that I saw cockroach in the beginning of class and it seemed like the facility was already aware of this issue, as she acknowledged that the roaches come from under the closet door, however, it didn't feel like much is being done to address it. So yogis, beware of securing a spot by the closet as these could very easily come out. With that said, I hope the studio can take additional steps to address and eliminate the presence of roaches and other bugs so members can feel comfortable and relaxed in the space, especially after what was found last night.

They offer a large list of classes, pilates, yoga, HIIT, Barre, yoga, some are a combo, heated and non-heated classes. The instructors are great, so far my favorites are Maria and Desirae. Both are clear in their instruction and were able to see my struggle to offer modifications in a very humble welcoming way. TruFusion makes it easier for me not having to think of a training plan. I book my classes on their app up to a week ahead and show up. The value for what I am getting is worth it. I kind of wish I would've done it sooner. They have some intro promos. I def recommend taking advantage.

The hour-long classes consist of high-impact, high-intensity strength training with cardio mixed in. Every day is different, and Coach Michelle Brown does a fantastic job at making our work-outs fun, interesting, and challenging. Michelle is a brilliant instructor -- a dynamic, focused, motivating leader, and an all-around down-to-earth, fun, wonderful person. She has a very natural and genuine way about her that makes her instantly relatable and much beloved by her boot campers. This is a fitness regiment made for women, by women, and it is designed to tone your muscles, improve core strength, and elevate your overall fitness level -- all while having a total blast and enjoying the outdoors. GUMSABA is about community, it's about nature, it's about health and fitness, it's about strong women. The work-outs will challenge you mightily, but won't break your spirit or leave you limping. (Additionally, Michelle can easily tailor exercises around individual needs, such as weak knees or prior injuries.) GUMSABA is basically like working out with a personal trainer five days a week -- that is the level of rigor and one-on-one attention you'll get. Having said that, it's no surprise that I saw GREAT results after just one month with GUMSABA. I became a fitter, stronger, and healthier version of myself, and I couldn't have been more thrilled. But what was most meaningful to me about GUMSABA was the friendships and community that I experienced with my fellow boot campers. The women were so friendly, encouraging, and helpful; they made me feel welcome from Day 1. It was truly inspiring, and something I will carry with me for a long time. I've since moved out of Contra Costa County, and I miss the women of GUMSABA often. Overall, I found the experience to be very inspiring and rewarding on many levels, and would highly recommend GUMSABA to you.

I've been aware of Indigo for a few years, never got myself there, until February of 2026. While I'm not incredibly spiritual, it's one of those things that made me wonder what finally got me through that door. The diversity of the teachers and offerings is amazing. They have 2 yoga studios and there are options every day. The fact that there are classes and events on Friday evenings, Sunday evenings when I find the desire to unwind and treat myself to some self care, icing on the cake. I was also disappointed by the instructors. The first instructor got all righteous and told us how "sad" we made her feel after she asked people to move over to make space and we didn't automatically respond, in part because some were confused about which way we should move (it was a very large class of more than 50 people.) She treated us like an annoyed mother telling her children how disappointed she was with them. I did get a good workout, but was a bit perturbed by her ungenerous feeling toward us. Give people the benefit of doubt before reprimanding them! The teacher of the other class was also off putting as she started her class by asking students what yoga meant to them. I don't think it's appropriate to quiz students about why they're in class and then subject others to their answers. Others might disagree, but I just want to practice and then get on with my day, not be tested to see that my relationship with yoga is intact. Needless to say, this studio is not for me!
