I visited Woodhouse Spa for the first time and will definitely come back on a regular. I booked the…read more50min Restorative Sleep Massage as a Christmas gift and it was the bomb. I wish it lasted longer. My masseuse was Audura and she was very kind and did an absolute amazing job. The whole experience as soon as I walked in the door was amazing and so relaxing. They offered nice robes, shoes and drinks and great customer service. It was a wonderful experience and highly recommend to anyone.

Tationa, my massage therapist, was absolutely wonderful with her technique. I know a massage is good for me when it almost (and probably did, actually) put me to sleep on the table. I normally do deep tissue and explained that my neck and shoulders needed it usually but that I wanted a relaxing experience and she gave me one of the best massages! Appreciated her technique and for making my last night in town a pleasant one. Beyond that, the atmosphere is very relaxing, the restrooms are clean and well appointed, and the complimentary mimosa before and after my massage were the cherry on top. Thank you to the hosts including Leitha (sp?) for the hospitality. I will absolutely be back when I visit Nashville again!

I've found my new massage therapist! Discovered Lindsay here on Yelp while in desperate need of a…read moredeep tissue massage focusing on my back. I experience chronic shoulder dislocations and have various knots due to overuse, poor sleep positioning, etc. Lindsay immediately knew what to do! She even gave me some detailed advice on how to improve the quality of my sleep, plus some useful referrals to other health practitioners she trusts. Lindsay is kind, professional, and quite strong with a clean and inviting studio space. I felt amazing afterwards and look forward to seeing more improvement in my back after regular visits. Thank you, Lindsay!

Unfortunately, although I repeated a few times that I wanted to focus only on the back and shoulders, about half the time was spent on my fingers, hands/forearms, etc. and we were about 30 minutes in before she flipped me over to start on my back. She was very pleasant and kept saying it's all connected, which I understand; but, I've had many massages over the years and never once had anyone start massaging my fingers when I go for a back massage. Although I requested firmer pressure a few times, it felt like a basic massage vs deep tissue. The studio is in a clinic and is nice and there are reserved parking spaces out front. Scheduling was easy. I had to book another massage elsewhere as soon as I left so a waste of money and not a good experience for me but probably fine for a general massage.

This place is inside Gaylord Opryland Hotel/…read more The Opryland Hotel, now known as the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, is a renowned 4-star resort in Nashville, Tennessee. It is known for its impressive nine acres of indoor gardens and waterfalls housed within glass atriums. The resort boasts a wide range of amenities including a full-service spa (Relâche Spa), several swimming pools (indoor and outdoor), a water park called SoundWaves, a fitness center, and a golf course. The Spa is ok and offer lots of services with a few skin care lines but my personal favorite is " Emminence Organic skin care" and this is one of the only locations close to me. I didn't have any services done yet in this spa I normally go to a different one but they have good product and you are an Elite Marriott member you can get 10% discount in the product you just need your EMN.

The only reason this review isn't a one-star is because of the actual massage service--which was…read morefantastic. My therapist was attentive, checked in frequently, and clearly cared about my comfort and the quality of the treatment. That's the one highlight. Unfortunately, everything else about the experience left a lot to be desired. I called in advance because I had a full day to unwind and wanted to make sure the spa had enough to offer. I was told they had a steam room, sauna, eucalyptus room, hot tub, and more--all within the spa area. That either wasn't accurate or was a major overstatement. * The showers were not functioning properly--both knobs were broken and temperature control was impossible. * Towels were tossed everywhere, with no organization or cleanliness upkeep. * What was described as "ice towels" in front of the sauna were bone dry and room temp at best. * No sign of a hot tub or any inviting relaxation areas. * The water station was underwhelming, with no cold or infused water options. Wanting to settle in and make the most of the day, I asked if I could purchase a drink--maybe a glass of wine or champagne--but was told I couldn't have any alcohol before my massage, and that no drinks were allowed. Odd, but I respected the policy. However, after the treatment, I was told I'd receive a complimentary glass of champagne--what I received was a literal sip, maybe an ounce at most. When I politely asked if that was the full serving, I was met with rude and condescending commentary that made me feel embarrassed for even asking. To be blunt: the front desk staff and support team were the biggest letdown. From the moment I arrived to when I left, they were either dismissive or cold, which does not align with the kind of experience expected at a spa with this reputation and price point. If you're booking solely for the massage, it might be worth it--but if you're looking for a relaxing, welcoming, full-day spa experience, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. This was a major disappointment.
