However, all my anxieties faded away when I arrived and talked with Dale. She showed dogs for many years and now boards dogs in her former show kennel - which is the lower story of her house. This is a person who loves dogs and has vast experience with them. I can't imagine a better place for a safe and happy "camp" experience for your pet. Thank you Dale and all the staff at Camp Bridlewood! (P.S. I forgot to bring home Winnie's bowl and without asking, Dale wrapped it up and mailed it home to me - the frosting on the cake!)

It is my belief that some days they are way understaffed and the new staff there is still not totally trained in taking care of dogs to prevent dog bites and attacks. The stereo was blaring one day when I went to pick up my dog! Dogs hate loud music! There were 2 incidents already in November and December 2023. My dog went there for 5 years and started as a puppy. She got bit by another dog 2 weeks in the ear which need surgery! :( The owner NEVER reached out to me to see how my dog was doing? He also never helped with my $ 800 vet bills either. So much for caring about the dogs! What a joke! That's really sad :( I should have taken my dog out of there like many already did after the 1st major dog attack in November

My husband and I have thought about boarding our cat, Agnes, but I was always afraid to because I…read morewas afraid that no one else would treat her the way we do. One day at our vet he asked if they boarded cats, they gave us a pamphlet that was just dropped off and said The Whisker Haven had just opened up. We immediately called and asked to see the place. Trina was so great and understood why I would be nervous. Her place is strictly for cats so it is a nice and relaxing place for them. She showed us around and we even met her two cats that were there. Trina put so much thought and care into her place and it can be seen with all the little details I would never have thought of. I was so happy that we booked four days with her for the July 4th holiday. She asked if it was OK if she texted us updates, and of course, we were happy to get them! While we were away we received pictures and updates. Our Agnes was doing great and looked so happy and comfortable. When we showed up to pick her up, she didn't want to leave! She was walking around and enjoying the large cat tree that is near her large window in the back. She was so happy and enjoyed her time there. Trina also brushed her, which we were able to tell because she felt so nice and well taken care of. Surprisingly, we put her on the floor and she walked back into her "cat condo", ate, and went to sleep in the bed! This is truly the best place you could bring your cat. Trina cares for animals and is a true cat lover. She has thought of everything possible to make your cat's time there enjoyable. She even will give your cat their medication for a small fee, this was great because our cat needs a pill twice a day. We have already booked future dates because we feel she will be booked up once the word gets out! We highly recommended bringing your cat here. It is like an affordable spa vacation for your cat. You will be so happy with The Whisker Haven, Trina is the best!

This company was great for the first year we used them. We relied on EP services and would leave detailed notes to remind them of the cats' needs and dietary/medical requirements. Generally, the team at EP did a great job and were a trusted service provider. Recently they changed their billing policies, we had previously used VenMo and they switched to requiring a CC, which is fine, we always paid our invoices and we're in good standing. After a recent trip, we had Qs regarding their new billing policies, these Qs remained unanswered despite numerous attempts to contact them. We received a response from the EP team that they would reply shortly - they never did. We then found late fees auto-charged to our CC due to not paying the invoices within the terms, however, we had held payment due to our queries not being answered over the course of weeks, despite them saying they would respond. The EP mgmt team, when reminded and informed of our Qs, and subsequent dissatisfaction w/ the late fees, was extremely unproffesional and rude to my partner, and said our account was closed and they would not continue service. They also implied we were high maintenance when we had called after hours, while we were out of state, asking if someone could check on one of our cats who had not been seen on one of our 3 cat cameras for 12 hrs. They implied we panicked - which any good animal owner would do - because we reached out. They failed to recall that earlier this summer, one of their associates actually locked one of our special needs cats in the wrong "zone" of our home, a major concern that jeopardized our cat's safety. When that originally happened, they were great about rectifying the situation, but it was very rich of them to accuse/imply us of being panicked, when we had a past experience when their incompetence put our cat's welfare at risk. This company owes us late fees and has sketchy business practices. I compliment them for their care of the cats, generally, but the management of the business, their inconsistent/shady billing practices, and terrible customer support/rudeness to standing customers is unacceptable. Do not use this service.
