Nadia only takes one dog at a time so there are no cages for holding your nervous and frightened pet. Nadia came recommended by my friend Joe at the gym who brings his dog Peaches to Nadia. Nadia's price seemed fair to me. Patrick looked and smelled wonderful and he was happy. Making an appointment is handled by texting to Nadia's number. She will ask a few questions before accepting your dog.

I was going back and forth between three and four stars, but ultimately rounded up because they…read morewere able to fit my dog in the same day I called, and the woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. This was my second time bringing my dog here. When I dropped him off, I was asked if I wanted the same haircut as last time, and I said yes. Unfortunately, what he came back with was not the same haircut. The groomer appeared to style him more like a poodle, or at least what he thought a poodle should look like. I ended up having to send him back to be fixed. I specifically asked for his tail, the top of his head, and his ears to be trimmed down. When he came back, those areas had been trimmed, but so had his beard--the feature that gives him his schnauzer look. Without it, he honestly looks more like a rat than a schnauzer. My biggest issue is the lack of communication. If the groomer was unsure about the instructions, I would have appreciated him coming out to clarify before making the cut. A quick conversation could have avoided the misunderstanding entirely. While I appreciate the convenience and customer service at the front desk, the inconsistency in the grooming itself makes me hesitant about returning.

I cannot say enough great things about That Dirty Dog, and especially Sydney. My dog is extremely…read moreanxious at grooming appointments and can be very difficult due to his fear and stress. Grooming has always been a challenging experience for him, so I'm very selective about where I take him. Sydney was absolutely amazing. She was calm, patient, and incredibly understanding of his anxiety. Despite his anxiety, she was able to trim his nails and give him a full bath, which is not an easy task. What really stood out was her communication. She kept me updated throughout the appointment and even sent me a picture, which gave me so much reassurance knowing he was safe and in good hands. Because of this great experience, we already booked our next appointment. If you have an anxious or nervous dog, I highly recommend That Dirty Dog and Sydney. Finding someone you can trust with your dog is priceless, and I'm so grateful we found her.

Imagine my surprise when they called me because there was an "incident" while he was being groomed. She claims that Snoopy was resisting and struggling while being groomed and as a result a blood vessel burst in his eye. What!!! I picked him up immediately and brought him to the vet. He was ok but his eye was completely filled with blood. The vet said he may have fallen off the table but couldn't be sure. That evening the groomer called me crying checking on my dog. She kept apologizing over and over again. Seemed like she felt guilty...anyway I would never bring either of my dogs there again. I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT REALLY HAPPENED :(
