Their response time is dismal and their "answering service" is horrible. Finally when they did come out they suggested pruning and the sales representative (William) discussed trimming any branches (no matter how high) so that there were no branches over our roof. He sent through the proposal and we signed. Then when the team came (several weeks later with only 1 day notice) they were very unprofessional. They asked my husband to sign their sheet before the job was complete and then didn't remove the high branches. I called back 3 times and finally got in touch with William. He was not apologetic and said that I had misunderstood him. Jim, a foreman, came back to the house to discuss it with me and he was very kind and promised they would resolve the issue. When they came back I wasn't home and they did cut off a few of the higher branches but I still don't feel that it was worth the price or what William had promised me in the initial discussion. At this point there was nothing to do but pay the invoice which I did. I will never use them again. The whole experience was a mess.

Last month we noticed something going on with it. They came out and let us know that the tree was suffering from a red maple fungus, it was very severe and not going to get better. By the end of the first year on their annual plan Schulenberg's had the yard in very good condition.
