Each time I have mentioned being disappointed no Bday cake was available, no one has mentioned this as an option, and actually tonight, I was told by one of the young ladies that in the 6months she has worked here, she has not seen Birthday cake as an option . PS- there are always lots of options/flavors (sadly nothing that compares to bday cake IMO) and the service is always great, so even though I choose not to get anything on these occasions when birthday cake is not available, my family still proceeds to get their favorites. So disappointing! We are from Indianapolis and our daughter lives in Bonita- we make it a point to come here everytime we visit (which is often)- twice now in April (the first week and this week) we have came here and no birthday cake ice cream! There is also a young girl frequently working the register who seems overwhelmed and inattentive. Orders often have to be repeated multiple times, even when clearly stated, which slows things down even more. It gives the impression that the front counter could use better training or stronger management during peak hours. We truly enjoy the vibe and want to keep supporting the place, but today's $12 panini was unfortunately not worth the price. Between the long wait and the quality not matching the cost, it made the experience disappointing. We hope they can improve organization and staffing during busy season, because it really is a nice spot with potential.

No complaints at all about the quality of the ice cream (it wasn't icy). My main deduction comes from the layout and flow of the shop. It was very crowded, and because the line forms directly in front of the coolers, I was only able to see about a third of the available flavors when it was time to order. I really didn't like having to choose without being able to see all the options, especially at a place known for variety. That said, once you get your scoop, it's enjoyable and worth stopping by. Just be prepared for crowds and a bit of chaos, especially during peak times. Good ice cream, just a slightly frustrating ordering experience.
