When you go to any Norman Love store the big dilemma is deciding what goodies to buy! This particular store is located in the Miromar Outlets with plenty of parking nearby. They have a nice assortment of chocolates as well as delicious pastries and cakes for sale. The woman who helped us was very sweet and very helpful. Some of the flavors offered are Mexican hot chocolate, New York cheesecake, Sicilian pistachio, crème brûlée. Each chocolate looks like a piece of artwork and it's almost a shame to eat them! Store was spotlessly clean, the only reason for not getting five stars is because the prices are a bit on the high side but I don't mind indulging once in awhile. I highly recommend stopping by! read more

Do not buy these chocolates. I ordered their birthday cake collection for my wife who does have a nut allergy. She's not severely allergic, but at the same time, she stays away from things that actually contain nuts. In the descriptions of the chocolates on their website the box does not contain nuts. The slip of paper said one of the chocolates contained pecans. When I called customer service they just told me over the phone "Oh don't worry it doesn't have pecans in it" For somebody with food allergies that just doesn't cut it. She won't eat these chocolates and I certainly understand why. The company offered nothing to compensate for my worthless 68 dollar box of chocolates I will not be using them and I strongly suggest you do not order anything from this particular business. read more

Meh. I had the Caramel Turtle Gelatto. Bland and not decadent at all. Tasted like a healthy version of dessert. I also tried the raspberry sorbet, the strawberry gelatto, and the hazelnut gelatto. None of it moved the needle for me. We had a peanut butter chocolate chip cookie. It was so-so. The cookie was soft but dry. And not all that sweet. read more

Best gourmet Chocolate anywhere I've been all over the world and this has high quality and is delicious

Located at the end of the Miromar Outlet mall, Norman Love is all about the gelato and pastries and a million different things that would completely blow my keto diet out of the water. So today's visit was all for Mom and I only had the tiniest taste of her half chocolate and half pistachio gelato. I liked the pistachio more. Lots of other sweet treats including truffles and croissants and baked goods. Assuming you can keep them air conditioned so they don't melt, you can not go wrong with a gift of chocolate truffles (pick from the dozen plus flavors) in a pretty box. We sat inside and enjoyed the air conditioning. [Review 15826 overall - 1404 in Florida - 1330 of 2021.] read more

Amazing presentation chocolates that taste as good as they look. Wide variety of flavors. Gift with impunity.

In my opinion, you can't get better chocolates anywhere. My family loves getting them as holiday gifts. Pastries and gelatos are very good as well. Well worth checking out! read more

Chocolate chunks cookie was dry AF and tasted old. The pistachio gelato was delicious. Not much to say I wasn't impressed.

Cute little dessert shop in the Miromar Outlets. For reference, it is located right behind and across from Ford's Garage. They had so many different truffles and gelato flavors to choose from. I opted for a blondie, and my friend opted for some truffles and gelato. The only thing that I was missing was they did not have any chocolate mousse, which was advertised on other Yelp reviews as well as their website or Google. The cashier was extremely friendly and helpful, and I would definitely return. read more

Love has jumped the shark. So disappointing. (Let me first say that I tried five times to provide this information directly, and privately, through the Love website, but after it locked up multiple times preventing me from typing or editing, I felt even more compelled to express my thoughts despite the frustration.) We had been invited to the home of new friends and we offered to bring dessert and wine. My wife and I have followed Mr. Love's journey of excellence from his days at the Ritz Carlton. He has always been most gracious, greeting us personally in his confectioners, though that has now been many years past. Briefly, we chose a White Chocolate Raspberry cake from the McGregor store. It glistened like a jewel. It looked like a picture in a magazine. I jokingly asked if the cake had been created this month and I was assured that it was fresh. My first frustration, chronologically, was prompted by the Point-of-Sale screen's solicitation for a tip. As the young lady had simply placed the cake into the box, I did not feel that a tip was justified. (This is the same service that Publix and numerous similar stores perform as part of the process to sell a cake.) A $45 8-INCH CAKE. A large cupcake at some stores. But, the issue arose when her disposition instantly changed to one of contempt after I had selected 'No Tip'. The mood and the atmosphere at the register darkened aa she abandoned the register leaving me to complete my transaction without a receipt. No 'Thank You' for coming into this store and providing a reason for me (the young lady) to remain employed. No 'Goodbye, Come Again". I wondered how the lost potential for my one dollar tip might have changed her life. Could she have gotten that new car? Travelled to Italy and met the love of her life? Of what benefit did my perceived selfishness cheat her? Anyway, such minor observations do not put me off course for long. Unless, of course, it is just a part of a larger story. This epic story concluded when the cake was served by our hostess. THE 8-INCH $45 CAKE. The half-inch strip of red cake surrounding the white chocolate center was crumbly dry and tasteless. The "white chocolate' tasted like whipped cream. Certainly, it bore no hint of white chocolate flavor. It was an enormously disappointing conclusion to a lovingly prepared gourmet meal. My wife and I remain embarrassed to our friends for presenting an 8-INCH $45 CAKE that paled beside a frozen Sara Lee cake. From Publix. With no expected tip. I rarely write reviews. I despise writing bad reviews. But this experience was a shocking reversal of the quality we had come to expect. I am very sorry to relay this event, but I feel compelled to make others aware. Verify what you are buying. Tip when appropriate, rewarding service appropriately. But, do not fall for this new trend of tip-begging for the minutest of efforts. Perhaps this was a fluke. Maybe it's their summer menu for the locals. Worst of all, it will be a long time before I get a hankering for AN 8-INCH $45 CAKE. Harry Balke. read more

I'm more of a creature of habit than I use to be and every time I visit the area Norman Love is on my must stop list. This time around I picked up a couple chocolates and a chocolate dessert. This time around the free sample was tiramisu and I loved it. I picked out my passion cotta which is number 1 and tried the flavor of the month mango yuzu. I also picked up a raspberry dome dessert which is the size of your palm. The desserts here are heaven on earth and our rules are eat the passion panna cotta last. Always saves the best for last or else if you eat the other last they will be sub par. It's the truth so everything here is amazing because we follow that all the time. Love love love this place and glad it's a treat only when we visit. Imagine if I actually lived here! read more

I was teetering between 4-5 stars.... the young lady helping me behind the counter was really sweet and patient with picking out my tasty treats. I bought a delicious caramel cake to bring home. They aren't cakey, the cakes are flavors of mousse with a glass like beautiful coating on the exterior of either caramel, chocolate, white chocolate from what I saw. Lucky me, today was half off the large cakes. That's definitely tempting in the future to drive across the alley to pick up again. I happened to be over there this time and I always stop in for treats. After my purchase, I checked in on Yelp to add photos and then saw the offer of a free small coffee with purchase. I didn't even know they had coffee! What a nice surprise. The young lady helping me wasn't sure of the Yelp offer, and at that time a women came out. (Maybe a manager) And she wasn't aware of the offer either. So I explained what yelp is, how the offers work etc. There seemed to be a shift in the air. A bit uncomfortable actually. So I asked for the coffee with a smile and the possible manager said to me "you do realize you have to purchase something. It's not just a free coffee." Eh. Well this feels uncomfortable for sure. She then told me I would have to wait for five minutes. I said I was fine doing so. I then tried telling her that I wanted to let her know that I purchased a cake already. But she didn't turn around. When she gave me the coffee she was nicer, and I clarified again that I had purchased a cake and plan on purchasing more once done with my coffee. She then said she knew but just wanted to clarify that is what the coupon said. I don't know.... maybe a misunderstanding... but I felt what I felt. I have to say she was much nicer while I sipped my coffee. She offered to refrigerate my cake while I was sitting. But anyways! Absolutely delicious chocolates, they usually have a sample to try, delicious and beautiful cakes. Everything is a piece of artwork. They have personal size cakes too. They are so rich that it really is good for two people. I also purchased a white chocolate strawberry cheesecake. So good. And a bunch of chocolates. Each flavor is so delicious. Hard to pick a favorite. They also have gelato, cappuccino, coffee, prepackaged chocolates and you can pick your own. The chocolates a little cheaper if you don't put them in a signature box FYI. Plenty of parking. They are just right next door to Fords Garage restaurant if you want to park close. If you are over there, check the place out! Feel free to take me with you! Ha! Enjoy! read more

Happily received my first chocolates as a gift recently. Now I am "paying it forward" by gifting special friends and family. I was unsure of splitting orders to separate recipients and applying my frst time discount code. I emailed and also left a message online and frst thing the next morning received a helpful email followed by a call from Kathi Rinehart, customer service coordinator, who happily and responsively helped me complete multiple orders and receive my discount. Norman Love Confections lives up to the "old time" customer service that a family owned business gives. Now I don't mean to ignore the insanely exceptional quality chocolate products I have tried and they hand create, because they are delicious, mouth-watering and fun to look at and eat. I had to order myself a 25 item gift box that came today. Nor have I explored all their other products! 'Talk about superb packaging for these perishable chocolates...especially in transit! I tried three pieces of chocolate. They were all delicious. I also got a gluten free brownie (because it had no nuts) to go which was quite good but not the best I've ever had. Delicious chocolate! I try to make a trip to Norman Love on McGregor whenever I am visiting family in the area. There are a few Norman Love locations, but this was the only one open on Sunday. Located in the Miromar Outlets across from Ford's restaurant sits this wonderful chocolate shop, Norman Love Confections. We discovered this store a couple of years ago and were impressed with the beauty of the chocolates, each a of work of art, almost too pretty to eat. Almost. Frequented again today with the intent of slyly walking to the back of the store, snagging a free sample, then slipping out but that didn't work out too well. I have to resign myself to the fact that I can not walk into this shop without making some type of purchase. This time it was two pastries which I found to be reasonably priced. They had a nice assortment of gelatos as well but the price for the cones was a bit steep for us. Highly recommend if you are a chocolate lover. read more

Just left the Miromar store at 3pm Sunday 12/30/2018. Unfortunately I will never purchase a Norman Love Gift box again. I bought my wife a box of chocolates for Christmas as had been a tradition of ours for many years. One of the pieces was moldy so I tried to exchange the box in its entirety. I understand that this can happen because it is a perishable item even though the consume by date was Jan 07(over a week away) the manager at the moment refused to exchange the box. (Wasn't trying to get my money back just exchangeAs a business owner I know that at sometimes customers try to pull a fast one on you. Can you really go wrong here? I bookmarked this spot on Yelp a while ago and totally did not realize it was in an outlet mall. I had a little bit of trouble figuring out where they were located and where to park but figured it out. Basically when you pull in go to the right side parking lot. I liked that they were sampling whole truffles instead of a little piece of one. Obviously these truffles are not cheap, but they truly are like little works of delicious art. It was hard to justify buying a box for myself so I just went with the hazelnut and caramel. Both I would get again. I think these would make a great grift since they really are so impressive all lined up in a box. The employees were friendly! I like that this is also a little cafe where you can get coffee drinks and other beverages. I will be back next time I am in the area. Maybe not to this location though since its so tempting to also take a look in a few of those outlet stores. read more

Norman Love is as good as it gets. I've been to (and love) their Naples location, and this location is essentially the same. While Norman Love is known for their fine chocolate confections, they also have their own gelatos, crepes, deserts, and more. Nearly everything in their store looks too good to eat. If this is your first time coming, don't skip the chocolates - it's what their known for, and they taste as good as they look. I unfortunately have to give this place 3 stars. The employees were very kind and allowed my five children to all have a sample of Gelato. Because of that, I left a nice tip. Unfortunately, when I received my large mocha that I ordered, it was only filled half in the cup!! I went to the counter and showed the girl my half empty cup. She said she was trying to save room for whipped cream. She asked if she could add a shot of espresso, but when she did, it just barely tipped over the half way point. And because of that, it just tasted like a cheap cup of coffee from McDonald's. She didn't take the time to see if it was ok afterward. Bummer for me. read more

My family and I were excited to come get gelato after a long and hot day. When we went to the counter, we were still looking over our options. The lady serving us at first seemed nice, but quickly showed her true colors. She was impatient, and after only about 2-3 minutes, she rolled her eyes, gave us a glare, and muttered something rude about us under her breath. We were then handed off to a younger employee named Dee. She was much nicer and more attentive in giving us samples, listening to our orders, and putting the gelato in the cup (with wafer cookies)! She saved me from giving this place a scathing one-star review. The first, rude lady didn't have her name tag on, but she was older and had short, curly red hair. read more
