My husband ordered the Dubai chocolate waffle cone with ice cream, my brother got a mint avalanche shake, my daughter had cookie dough ice cream, my dad got a standard hot fudge sundae and my mom got the huge slice of baklava. Everything was good, but no one was blown away by anything, it was honestly pretty average. the biggest downfall here is the price; we walked out spending $70 on dessert for 5 people which is honesty insane.

We had just finished an escape room in the area and this was the perfect afternoon summer snack to have. As you walk in, you are immediately greeted and undecided because of all the delicious pictures of the options they provide for their spaghetti gelato, which they can also make milkshakes. They have so many different options and you are able to build you own as well. Normally I can't ever finish a small scoop of ice cream but this gelato ice cream it's unique and delicious. I personally prefer that it doesn't feel like too much sugar yet it holds the flavor enough for you to enjoy. Our cashier was very friendly and we decided on the Ferrero rocher, Cheesecake, and peanut butter jelly. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them however we went with what our favorite sweet treats are and we were not disappointed. I would definitely have them again or explore others. It was very easy to find, they have a few tables inside to enjoy your gelato, some seating outside as well. Restroom very clean and spacious. Decent amount of parking available in the plaza. Their ice cream is made in Sarasota, Florida, by Yoder's, an Amish community known for quality. The result? A rich, creamy texture with perfectly balanced flavors. The pistachio ice cream stood out--it's made with real pistachios, not almonds, which is a rare and welcome surprise! I opted for the Triple Peanut Butter, which had an intense peanut butter flavor that really hit the spot. The Mint Chocolate Chip was also fantastic--easily one of the best we've had. Paradise Scoops is definitely worth the drive, and we can't wait to go back to try even more flavors. If you're in the area, this place is a must-visit!

The shop itself is pretty simple, but the star of the show is the homemade ice cream. They offer an incredible selection of flavors, and there's truly something for everyone. I ordered the Brownie Batter and Gator Tracks, and while both were delicious, the Brownie Batter was my favorite. If you're a chocolate lover like I am, it's rich, decadent, and full of chocolate flavor. We also tried one of the sorbets, which was good, but it didn't stand out quite as much as the ice cream. The only suggestion I'd have is to include descriptions next to each flavor on the menu board. With so many unique options, almost every customer ahead of us had questions about what was in each flavor. The employees were incredibly knowledgeable and patiently answered every question, which was impressive considering how many flavors they offer. Having descriptions posted would help keep the line moving while making it a little easier to choose. One of my favorite touches was something completely unexpected. They have three-ring binders for each of the 50 states where visitors can sign their names and leave a note. Our group represented three different states, and the kids had so much fun finding our states and adding our names. It's such a simple idea, but it made the experience feel personal and memorable. Great homemade ice cream, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and fun little details that make you smile. It's easy to see why Love Boat is such a popular stop on Sanibel.
