I found MQ Painting on Angie's List - I'm so glad I did…read more This was the best experience - my house was badly in need of paint and rotten wood repair. Their estimate was fair and i just got a good vibe from Jose Quintanilla who I dealt with primarily. My instincts were spot on. They did the job as professional as you could hope for, not one splash of paint out of place. THe wood problem was worse than we thought once the wood was taken out (it was and I was told by my regular handyman this was probably the case that we'd find more issues as we removed wood); They dealt with this as no problem and the up charge on the additional work was more than fair as well. Terrific people, good communicators (we had a lot of rain delays, and Jose was on top of keeping me abreast of what they planned to do and when, I wasn't left to wonder when are they coming back...) and overall nice people to have around working on your house.

First came and power washed everything a few days before, then on first day of painting removed all old caulk and re-caulked, plus filled any holes. Gave everything 2 coats and on one part that was stain actually gave 3 coats. Original quote did not include foundation, soffit, gutters, front and rear stairs but Jose added those in at a reasonable price, so had those done too. Also painted chimney at no extra charge, On top of all this they completed the job in 2 days. Could tell from first time I had Jose come out to give me a quote he was very knowledgeable and passionate about his business and painting, which I really liked. I would not hesitate to recommend MQ Painting to anybody. I guarantee you will be happy with the quality of work and price you'll receive from MQ Painting.

Josh from Weather Proof Roofing did some concrete repairs and tuck pointing at my house. The…read moreconcrete repairs were to a stone walk way and he had to come back to fill in the joints because the first time wasn't very smooth. After he did the second application he left a lot of concrete splatter and told me it would chip away when it was dry. But it didn't, it looked really messy and I sent him picture and asked him to come back. He delayed coming back and never got back to me. I had to research how to remove the concrete spots and has to buy my own acid materials to remove it. The tuck pointing quality was good but he didn't clean up anything and I had to go around my house scooping up mortar drops everywhere. He also mixed concrete in a flower bed and didn't clean it up. The work ended up fine, but the job was messy and required too much management on my part than I've ever had to do with other contractors.

I just moved here recently and the place that I'm at had a really bad paint job before a crew from…read moreDip came and basically saved the walls of my new place. It actually feels like a new home now. I had originally contacted http://titanpainterschicago.com which is a different paint company and they referred me over here since they weren't immediately available so that was nice of them. I asked my friends and family for some recommendations for paint companies. One of my coworkers suggested Dip. He said that Dan the owner was a great guy and they helped him when he moved in as well. My coworker raved about their customer service. He especially loved how helpful everyone on their team is when you have any questions or concerns. Dan the owner is a great leader. I have a lot of respect for bosses that treat their employees well! For my experience with them, they do everything well! They do free estimates and their prices are great. I wanted a paint job that matched the color that was originally there. I guess the original people had a good taste in color but they didn't do a very good job painting. If they used Dip, I wouldn't have wanted to change anything. I was definitely glad that Dip does color matching! The results of the paint job was also super high quality! I have already recommended Dip to several of my friends and family for any paint needs. They're super professional and I can't think of any one better for the job. I'm glad I found them when I needed them. If I ever move and need another paint job, I'll definitely be calling Dip. If you need any of the services that they provide, I would recommend! There's nothing to lose with the free estimates. It's super easy, just call them. Great people, great service, and great quality.

Contacted Angelo Natali using provided contact info on Yelp last week for quote on pressure washing…read moremy stone house on the NorthShore which he gladly provided. It proved to be the most competitive, he was based not far from us in Skokie, and he said he would be able to get to it quickly with an agreed upon date of service of 6/13/25. On 6/13/25 he sent me a quickly penned estimate which I signed and I returned around noon. He said that he could not now make it to complete the work due to the lateness of me returning the signed estimate. He then said he would come 6/14/25 at 09:00. He texted me that morning saying that he would not get here until 11:00. 11:00 came and went as did 12:00 as did 13:00. I finally texted him asking when we might expect him. I received no answer. I then called him hoping to speak to him. He let it go to voicemail. I got the distinct impression he was no longer going to do the work. This vendor is entirely unreliable and I would urge extreme caution in enlisting him to do pressure washing or any other service he might advertise. He is entirely unreliable and does not keep his commitments.
