The only reason for 4 stars is that they came with a truck that didn't have a liftgate while I communicated in advanced that an upright piano would need to be moved. It's not safe to move a piano by hand and roll it into the truck (for movers and the piano), so I'd have preferred if they used a liftgate instead.

I've never tried storing/moving furniture with Guys and Dollies so I can't say much about that. However when it comes to smaller items such as their signature boxes, luggage and small appliances (microwaves, mini fridges, etc), I've never encountered a problem. They pick up from your house whether yozu're at the dorms or off campus and drop off wherever you want too. They will give you as many boxes as you may need (and take back unused boxes) and other supplies like tape and labels. A friend of mine used their services to ship her things to New York and had no complaints. Guys and Dollies is flexible with pick up and drop off times and can even do same day appointments for the most part. I've never come across an issue that they haven't resolved quickly over the phone. I would recommend making an appointment early for pick up in May and drop off in August since those are their busiest times. They also have cost estimates on their website and are willing to go into more detail over the phone. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in between leases or not in town for the summer.

Then I called was informed that the movers were there waiting for 45 minutes and that I was responsible for paying for that time they waited because someone wrote my phone number incorrectly. When I called, Ann said "normal people" would be where they are supposed to be. They decided to have three movers and NEVER informed me. They moved the same stuff from my old house to the storage with 2 movers. Costing me $77 more per hour more than anticipated. I didn't authorize an additional mover. The owner came to my house last time to give me a quote and left his business card. I have misplaced it (while moving) and Ann refuses to give me his contact info.

First you order your box (which in my son's case was 2 large boxes). Basically they are massive wooden crates on wheels. They then deliver them to your dorm/apartment and you pack at your convenience. My son packed in between finals for a couple days. Then they come and take the crates at your designated appointment time/day. They have multiple options, but in our case, we needed them stored over the summer and brought back to his new dorm starting the school year in August. It was nice for him to not really have to seal everything in small boxes and pad things...you can use boxes to organize, but you can just put your stuff straight in...and the best part is that there is a clothes rod built inside that you can simply transfer your clothes on hangers straight in. Everything went smooth and I'll be using them again this year. I think they are a start up from previous alum. Anyway, great job Rolibox!

Took advantage of my son and charged him over $1700 just to move to one city to another. What's sad is, he never told us he's charging per guy per hour. He told me it's minimum of $350 for 2 hours and $90 every half hour. Basically charged us a total of $4500 and said he gave us a discount which brought it down to $1700. I almost fell off the chair laughing so hard. Jason did a bait and switch and said he meant per man per hour at $190 for 5 guys....he charges more than any other movers I know. Oh by the way he challenged me and said if I can get him a competitive bid for the same move and not someone on Craig's list, he will discount. Well guess what, I found 4 and he still didn't honor his word. How can someone who says they're helping basically raped them in prices!! It's disgusting and so unprofessional. Never showed my son an invoice, had him sign and made up an invoice for $4500 many hours later before showing it to me. Karma's a bitch, what comes around goes around.
