After finding DAG on the web thought I'd try it. I walked in the shop, pulled out the broken panels, and Mike said, "that's an old Weisbaden glass...", and he proceeded to talk a bit about the company. Better yet, he walked in the back and came back with a large pane of the glass. Exact match! Thanks Mike!! My lamp is now fully restored and looks great! My grandparents would be proud!

These mirrors are…read morelikely meant to be more art than bathroom mirrors, but they "bring the outdoors in" in a way that I wanted when we renovated the bathroom. Well, they hate temperature and moisture changes at the same time. The first one cracked last summer, and I struggled to find a glass shop that could help me. As I stated in my previous review, Acorn was able to come up with an innovative solution that not only allowed for the mirror to be repaired (made it usable again), abut also is now more resilient to these environment changes. Well, guess what. This summer the second one cracked. You'd think we would learn our lesson about opening the windows when weather is brewing outside. In any case, this time I knew exactly where to go. The folks at Acorn are lovely, and they remembered my unusual piece. They took on the challenge again, and this time with even better results. The glass is thicker/sturider, and the shape that they cut it is even more perfect. Their prices are very reasonable. Acorn continues to be my go-to for any glass or mirror work I have in my house.

Being that I am from Los Angeles, I was looking to get a customized Lakers mirror. Now you can guess how people in Denver would react to something of that request! I spoke with Aaron, and maybe it is because both the Lakers and Nuggets are horrible this year, but he was quick to help me out without questioning my allegiance. The job they did was phenomenal! The turnaround was quick and the price quote for what I got seemed extremely reasonable. They actually custom drew on the logo to the mirror, and colored it in Purple and Gold. The best part is that it is a one of a kind mirror that nobody else has because it was made specifically for me. So now I can stare at my beautiful mirror, while i drink my booze and watch the Lakers lose!
