We were walking around the Palazzo Ducale, going into little streets to take pictures when we came upon this beautiful tiny restaurant at Piazza di Valoria. The area looks a bit run down but the restaurant was full and very quaint looking. Surprisingly, they were open on a Sunday. We went in and tried to order off of their menu, only to find out that they only have a limited small special menus on Sundays. Very Italian!
We ordered two entrees - ravioli and roasted chicken. The ravioli was delicious and the roasted chicken was good. The potatoes that came with the chicken though, was very sumptuous. A glass of red wine and a glass of white wine. The total came to about 25 euros.
The owner of the restaurant was so friendly and funny. I'd love to come back one day on a Saturday night. read more
