This is a review of the business, both corporate and Memphis franchise ownership. I signed up for S Pass and didn't use it as much as I thought I would, ending up with over $300 in credit for services. I asked the manager if it would be possible to pause membership and still use my credit before resuming. She told me that she could remove my payment method from the account, the membership would still be active, I could use my credit, and add a payment method back later on. Perfect. Except that not only did this suspend my membership, and so did not work the way it was explained to me, in the intervening month the entire program was discontinued. Corporate headquarters informed me that (though when signing up for the Pass there was no indication that I was entering a contract with anyone other than the corporate entity), they took no responsibility for this or the fact that there was NO NOTIFICATION of the termination of the program sent to members. They flatly refused any assistance and told me it was the Memphis franchisee's responsibility to resolve the issue. I called the manager again. She returned my call saying that I could at least begin paying the monthly fee again and not be out the over $300 that I had lost. I went into the store to do so and had booked a service as well. When I arrived, I was informed that I could not, in fact, do this. I was provided a free service that day (the manager, to be fair, was as helpful as I think she was able to be at this point), but am still out a fair amount of money. I hate that I cannot continue to visit Tiana for service - again, she is fantastic - but I cannot give business to an establishment that wouldn't even offer to split the difference on a gift card to keep a loyal customer.

She gave me a moment to get settled before starting, which I appreciated. The wax itself felt a bit rough, but nothing out of the ordinary. I was on the phone with a friend to distract myself, and I began to notice she kept going over the same areas repeatedly, almost as if the wax wasn't grabbing the hair. When she finished, she let me check the results--and that's when I noticed that about 75% of the hair was still there, just broken off the way it looks when you shave. I tried to discuss it with her, and she attempted to go over the area again, but the wax still wasn't picking anything up. I was disappointed and asked for a reasonable solution, especially since I now have to wait for the hair to grow back to at least 1/2 inch before anyone can fix it. She told me she couldn't offer a discount and that I was still responsible for the full balance. When I asked to speak with the manager, she told me she was the manager and that the head manager wouldn't return until Wednesday. When I asked for their contact information, she refused. After pushing the issue and explaining my concerns, I was eventually offered a free service. Overall, the service was poorly done, and as a loyal customer for years, I'm extremely disappointed. My wax feels prickly--like porcupine quills--and that's absolutely not the result I expect from this place. So disappointed.

I went to this spa with my…read morefriend in July of 2024 i believe, to get a facial and body service which we scheduled beforehand. From their options i selected a thirty minute facial and a thirty minute full body message. The facial was incredible I wish I knew the woman's name who performed the service. It was a comfortable space with soft lighting and music. Very relaxing. My body message on the other hand was a different experience. I remember the lady wasn't thrilled that i chose the 30 minute full body massage because "it wouldn't be a lot of time to get to every part of the body". Which i told her that was fine and to just focus on a few main parts... She didn't make the space feel super comfortable and was loudly breathing and I could hear all of her movements. Not a huge deal, we continued and i just tried to relax and enjoy the massage. Unfortunately, it was too intense for my liking, and i did try and signal that to her. Which i don't think was received... It almost felt like she was doing that because she was a little annoyed i didn't choose a longer timeframe for the massage. Ever since going my collarbone pops. I don't know why and it still does even almost two years since. Overall, the experience was mostly good! I enjoyed the welcoming lady at the front desk and the lady who did my facial. Only thing was the woman who did my massage did not give me the experience i was truly hoping for from getting my first massage out! And on top of that my collarbone popping ever since just shows how aggressively she was massaging!
