Finally, when I got help they told me I don't have the paperwork needed (that I called and asked about being told I don't need anything) the old lady G. Johnson was extremely rude and disrespectful. Even when asked a simple question she was unable to answer and said to "look it up." If it's your job you should know the answers and not be a complete imbecile.

All four employees that were there including the manager helped us at some point. They were all very welcoming and very helpful getting all our documents together and bent over backwards to help us. They did this while also helping the other customers even when one or two had to leave at different points. Jen was the one that helped us the most as a primary and she was amazing! Even though she was new and had to ask questions, she was really knowledgeable and knew most everything. She mentioned at one point to a colleague that she needed to leave by 135 pm to get her child and when I noticed she stayed longer, about 140 pm, I told her I understand if she needs to go and we had to wait. She would not accept that and said she is almost done and didn't want it to get confusing by passing it off. I again stated I understand and she should go, but she insisted and stayed 40 minutes past her leave time of 130 pm to complete everything. The price is the price, it's government...lol. When we showed up we ended up being a half hour late because of my writing down the wrong time, that too did not seem to be a problem for them. I know working with the public (especially if the public views this service as more of an inconvenience for them) is a difficult job and can make customer service a hard thing to keep up, but these guys were pros! They did let me know we actually missed our appointment but did their best to fit us in even though it was our fault. Will be coming to these guys with any and all future tag agency business. I've had really good luck with Smitty's so we took it by. Got a great phone call from them informing me I have at least 15,000 more miles on the brakes, the brake fluid looks just fine but due to the mileage, it is time for the transmission flush. So we went from $1100 a dealership to 350 at Smitty's. This kind of truthfulness from a mechanic shop is basically unheard of. Cannot recommend them enough.
