I was presented with "urgent" procedures on teeth that had never previously been an issue. The insurance estimate I was told to expect? Somehow that detail only came out after the drilling had already begun. The promised follow-up call with the quote never happened, but the paperwork appeared very promptly once the work was done. It's hard not to feel like the treatment plan was driven more by production goals than patient care. Longtime patients deserve communication, honesty, and conservative treatment recommendations -- not surprise invoices. Sadly, I'll be finding a practice that prioritizes teeth over revenue.

I had a crown done less than a year ago and it literally broke in the middle of the crown leaving a whole in the middle. The new staff would not fix it or make any accommodations to assist me. They wanted me to pay full price. The office manager took the attitude of oh well there is nothing we can do. I will never go back. Do not use the Smile Loft in Hillandale, Spring. I actually found a new dentist and they were willing to give me a discount.

So yes, I HAVE to leave a review for this place. As a veteran who has experienced years of subpar healthcare and dental care, I am truly amazed by the exceptional service at Tomenko Dentistry. From the moment I walked in, the experience was top-notch. Raquel greeted me warmly and immediately put me at ease. She's incredibly kind, professional, and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain everything she was about to do. Any questions I had, she answered confidently and clearly (& I had lots of questions ) She's already one of my favorites! During my cleaning, I had the pleasure of being cared for by the hygienist with beautiful white hair and an accent (I wish I remembered her name). She was so thorough and clearly passionate about her work, making the experience both effective and pleasant. Dr. Tomenko herself is nothing short of a genius. She discovered a fractured tooth that no one else had been able to detect. She approached the situation with careful precision, taking conservative measures to ensure I avoided unnecessary pain or procedures. She took her time with me, which is something many providers don't do, and made me feel valued and cared for. During my crown procedure she made sure I wasn't in any pain. It took a couple extra shots and more time for me to be numb and pain free. She takes pain seriously and makes it a priority for her patients not to be in any pain if she can avoid it! The office is pristine (a huge priority for me), and the staff is incredibly organized with excellent communication. It's clear the entire team takes pride in their work. I'll never leave this place! Even though I initially considered switching due to their weekday-only schedule, I've realized this practice is worth taking PTO for. He said that he does implant too and we proceeded with the treatment. I later found out with another skilled dentist and an oral surgeon use completely modern and advanced equipments for scanning and diagnostic purposes which "dr" Thomas didn't have, specifically the panoramic scanner which will determine the bone thickness and stability. In fact he only has a traditional x-ray machine in his office for all dental procedures! He charged me for all terrible service he provided and when the implant procedure failed because of his incompetence, lack of skills and dishonesty. He advised me to try to apply bridge for the procedure and I realized that he has no integrity even to admit he was incapable of doing his job effectively and run away from his "office ". I am in good hands with a real dentist and oral surgery practice who know what they are doing. My advice to prospect victims of this "dentist " is DON'T GO! I wish I could rate this business 0 star

I'm 64 years old and I've had as much radiation for tonsil cancer earlier in life that a human can survive. And fortunately it worked, and cured it. But my teeth were a casualty. I was told I'd have "tooth problems forever" and it was the truth. But to my immense good fortune I've found the most wonderful dentist who has cared for me and my family (and several of my friends) for years. Whatever goes wrong, he fixes it. And no matter what work has to be done, he gets it done and it's 100% painless every time. To look at my teeth, you'd never know I have chronic tooth problems because he keeps them in such good shape both structurally and cosmetically. To complicate matters, I can't open my mouth as wide as normal people can. My jaw muscles are very tight from the radiation. So performing dental work in my mouth is particularly challenging. But Dr. Liebeskind is always patient and understanding and talented enough to perform whatever needs to be done, never complaining about how difficult I make it for him. It would be fine if he wasn't also one of the nicest people I've ever met. But he is. And I wouldn't complain if he didn't have the nicest, most professional staff. But he does. I enjoy seeing them as I do old friends. I'm retired from a leadership position at the FDA where I knew countless physicians of all stripes. And then I served as a hospital VP for 8 years and worked closely with literally hundreds more doctors. I don't throw superlatives for doctors around lightly. Dr. Liebeskind is the best dentist, period. These days as I'm retired to Delaware I drive 3 hours to see him, and I'd drive farther if I had to. You don't know how lucky you are to have found him. The whole office runs like clockwork and is truly client-centric. I have never been kept waiting past my appointment in almost 10 years of patronage. I've had cleanings and fillings but mostly crowns; all feel and look wonderful. Fees are reasonable for top-notch dentistry. In fact I have dental coverage through my Kaiser Permanente health plan but have never used it since I wouldn't think of changing dentists!
