The team is always responsive to our requests and needs and always, always puts well well being of kids first. Teachers are valued, respected, and a collaborative part of the leadership team. And, it shows. They're comfortable bring up ideas or concerns, and are greeted with responsiveness. This is the cleanest childcare facility I've ever seen in my life. This is also the only place that I trust my child to go during the pandemic. they already cleaned and sanitized more than any place I've ever seen. Now that's even amplified. Not only does the whole staff love my little boy, and he loves them... Not only have they helped him grow socially and emotionally... Not only does he love going to school everyday... Not only is it's a collaborative team where teachers are actually valued, respected, and listened to... But. I will never forget the night my mother-in-law passed suddenly. Because of the team's responsiveness, I never worried about if I would be able to get ahold of him during a constantly changing situation. It's not only that. I actually felt comfort knowing that I could reach out to them at any point, get a response, and that response would be to fully support my child and my family in any way possible. This school is truly amazing.

I highly recommend Kiddie Academy of Salmon Creek. I did months of research and upon meeting John…read morethe Owner at the Welcome Center in January we enrolled our little guy. We patiently waited for construction to finish and received updates throughout the entire process, John is really big on communication! Prior to opening we met Lindsey the Academy Director who we see daily along with John. They are both amazing greeting us by name each morning with a smile and saying good bye every evening. The center is full of top notch teachers who are accommodating and care about all the kids at KA and know each of their names. My one year old son LOVES going to "school" everyday and on the days he's having a "moment" there's always a staff member with open arms to give him a good snuggle and put a smile on his face. The environment is clean, organized, safe and nurturing. We receive a daily activity report with pictures, video and blurb about what he was learning. Not to mention I can log in to the cameras all day long through a secure parent portal. Each room has an age appropriate curriculum and learning toys. One of my sons favorite parts of the day is outdoor time where the littles have a dedicated play area. His other favorite part is food, what toddler doesn't love food. KA serves a wide variety of foods and encourages family style dinning where my little one is learning to use utensils. Since KA has opened they have exceeded my expectations and I'll never send my little one anywhere else.

Other parents were not notified. I wasn't impressed. The staff is not trained on how to handle social emotional learning. I wish it worked out, just wasn't pleased with the care with such a high cost. Per contract, we had to pay for the next month because we didn't give a 30 day notice. It was more important to withdraw her as we saw this took a toll on her confidence and comfort in a learning environment. Thousands of dollars to waste in our experience, making something work that wasn't working.

What a breath of fresh air!…read more I called this center, which happens to be minutes from the freeway, and minutes from my house, and spent a good 15 minutes on the phone with the director getting information. I eventually was able to come in for a tour. The lobby was organized, clean and quiet. I liked that the lobby was accessible, but the rooms were all keypad locked. The director stopped everything she was doing, and took me on a tour of the two infant rooms. She stayed with me, introduced the staff in each room and showed me all the things/forms/ and answered all my questions. She was quite informative and personable. They have a great system for communication with parents. Each of the rooms had infants who were doing various things (Sleeping/eating/playing/just hanging out) which made me feel like my child's needs could be addressed, not matter what they were. Each baby was content, and seemed like they were comfortable. The cribs were clean, the room was organized (but lived in). I was happy that they had organic based baby food, and were open to whatever schedule worked for my son. They also have great security policies in place. I'm so relieved to have a place that I can take my son for child care, if needed! Thank you!

My husband and I were brand new to the area and I can truthfully say, we found family within this Kindercare. Salmon creek Kindercare is by far the BEST daycare my children could receive. Not only have my children learned so much from these wonderful teachers but they also are so structured which is by far the best. Previous to the school opening, our daughter had only been watched by us or a couple of family members. So transitioning to a school or childcare facility was definetly a learning curve. The teachers really spent the extra time with our daughter that was needed to help to help with the transition. Really caring and nurturing to her. I feel that real positive relationships are being formed. Great environment to learn. Clean and bright. Safe and personal. I would highly recommend this facility.

We primarily have worked with Ms. Kristina, Ms. Gaby and Ms. Journey. Seeing that this was a new experience for us, there were a lot of reservations I had about this new chapter; as with any parent, I was scared that they would not receive that attention they need, the level of care, etc. The teachers at Lakeshore Learning Center quickly put my anxiety at ease after seeing how they took my children under their wing, looked after and genuinely cared about their growth and wellbeing. Each teacher has a warmth to them which makes it very clear that they are there for your kids as both a teacher and friend. I was/am impressed by their structured daily routine and how they keep the children engaged with art, science, dance, song, sensory, etc. The center itself is clean, well organized and operated with kind people. Also, I cannot say enough about how pre-K at Lakeshore really provides the essential tools for Kindergarten readiness. We are thankful and blessed to be attending Lakeshore Learning Center. Thank you for all the love you have shown our kiddos!

The small class sizes create incredible opportunity to be seen and heard by all of the staff. My kids love school, and love learning. At the end of the day, my family believes this is the most important gift to give our kids as they grow up - and so we are so eternally grateful to call ourselves Gardnerinos. Our child attended Gardner for four years, preschool through first grade. We loved this school for…read morea long time and still think highly of many teachers, families and kids. Unfortunately, we completely lost confidence in its leadership. First grade was a disaster. An inexperienced teacher was put in charge with inadequate oversight. Parents raised concerns about classroom management, kids not having enough time to eat, cleanliness, bullying, an angry and intimidating environment, physical handling/restraint of students and academics. There wasn't even a clearly established curriculum until parents began demanding answers about what our kids were being taught and how progress was being measured. Our child went from loving school to having sleep problems, anxiety and major behavioral changes. At one point our child was hiding behind a classroom door and under desks crying during an activity involving sewing and hot irons because they were afraid of being poked or burned. We raised serious concerns directly with Head of School Courtney Tomlinson and told her in writing that the problems were affecting our child at home and were "increasing intensity quickly." Other parents were raising concerns too. It took parents organizing, demanding answers, discussing withholding tuition and pulling our kids before the teacher was finally placed on leave and removed. What happened afterward destroyed our remaining confidence. Getting straight answers was difficult. Communications were long on words and short on information. Parents asked for an open community discussion that never happened, while the Board publicly backed Courtney. Less than half of the students are returning next year. Families leave for different reasons, but that level of turnover speaks volumes. Gardner has wonderful teachers and families. They aren't why we left. We told the Board we would not return with Courtney as Head of School and would reconsider if leadership changed. If you're considering Gardner, talk privately to current AND former parents. We wish we had.
